Ooh! Ooh!
West End Star Wars Miniatures Battles has rules for wildfires! Either if flames from a flamethrower spread, or troops just decide to arsonize a piece of forest terrain.
You can probably reverse engineer them back to RPG stats. |

You determine a wind direction and that decides which way the fire spreads. There are hexagon fire counters and you lay down more of them if the fire grows and remove them if it burns out (or gets put out). I forget what the damage code of fire is off the top of my head. |

Another argument for WEG using hex maps. _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. It's expected that you will make up new rules to suit the needs of your game." - The Star Wars Roleplaying Game, 2R&E, pg. 69, WEG, 1996.

Depending where they were in the wild fire, there would be physical damage per round. You could roll 2D6 and the result would be 2D - 12D damage per round (character scale). You could use the Character's Survival skill or Absorb Dissipate Energy force power to act a counter/reduction to the damage per round.
Vehicles with full cover or armor with an energy damage resistance would reduce damage per round. Aliens from searing planets, like Abyssins, would get a survival bonus to reduce damage per round.
Wind produced by the wildfire (firestorm) would act as a damage multiplier. I would predicate the speed the wildfires are moving based on how long they were burning and local weather conditions. _________________ Star Wars Deckplans Alliance
