will do. ill remove the +0 later, as it would require a bit of extra code, but will do.
as for the extra skills, i actually plan to implement a way to have it so you can rename some of the other skills.cause you wont need them all it didnt work the way i wanted to up front, but ill find a way... _________________ The Vong have Arrived

How about just including "Dex Skill 1" and "Dex Skill 2" and so on to be able to be renamed? _________________ Xynar

Yea, but i wanted to include all the defaults, so its easier to pick your skills out. The renaming part isint any problem becuas of the names, its just hte objects that i used to hold the information react differently then i tought they would orignally. It will be an easy enough fix, but i must re-work them.
Granted, i could just have all the text boxes containing the information enabled, so they are all editible from the get go, but i was going to do it so a double click prompts the user for a new named skill. _________________ The Vong have Arrived

Updated so you can rename the skills (double click on it, then simply rename, then double click again to lock it again). As well as removed the +0 when applicable from the phpBB output. I started the second page but came to an wall when decided how to do the layout of the force skills. So click over to page 2 (i know, there is no scroll bars yet, but you can still see the force layout stuff). Click the toggle force layout button, and let me know what you think of each one. as well as any other comments are welcome

Thanks to everyone who is helping me along by giving me comments of what would be nice. its the only way to make a product that everyone will enjoy _________________ The Vong have Arrived

forgot to add that in the check box layout, i am going to have it enable and disable them if you do or do not qualify for the skill (basically putting the force tree into the program ) _________________ The Vong have Arrived

Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but the end goal in this process is to create a program that "understands" the character creation rules and will allow you to create characters without consulting the rules. Is that correct? |

very end result, sorta. Dont want to have all the rules in there for copyright reasons, but having a bunch of them in there would be handy. as well as having some flexibility to add your own stuff to it. _________________ The Vong have Arrived

I really like it keep up the good work. After being away for a year I'm back and I think we are finally going to start our campaign in a few months. This will be great for keeping track of the characters. _________________ "You can't take the sky from me..." Wait wrong forum. |

it wont be 100% done in a few months but it should be at version 1.0 at least (so it will be usable as a character sheet generator )
