I remember seeing rules for transferring power from one system to the next in a ship or device. This would lessen the power in one system and increase the power in another i.e. transfer power from the engines to the blasters to increase the blaster power.
"Target, maximum firepower."
I can't find the rules and i am hoping the board can help me. |

Power Routing for Space Transports
As another option, here are the power routing rules I developed. _________________ *

The original source for this is The Far Orbit Project (pg. 25, specifically). However, IMO, the rules...aren't the best. Whill's version is much improved. However, if you're looking for something simpler, I use a basic Auxiliary Power rule where all ships have 1D of discretionary power that can be applied to any one system. Switching power itself is a Free Action, but must be declared at the beginning of the round. _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. To be complete, I adopted Auxiliary Power into my system, but also go further by also allowing power to be rerouted from one system to another (slightly inspired by the Far Orbit method). What I linked above is the whole thing. GMs certainly have the option to only do Aux Power and not the rest, if they want. _________________ *
