Hey guys, I'm working on an adventure that will take place on some sort of industrial planet.
It needs to developed and busy enough so that shady deals can take place without being super visible. I'm going to use the "generic starport" from Hideouts and Strongholds.
It should also be fairly close to Tatooine, where the PCs are at the moment.
Less than 7 days travel time at x2 speed, hopefully. Any suggestions? |

Geonosis: 0.2 hours
Kemal Station: 8 hours
Rodia: <1 day
Arkanis: 1.67 days
Llanic: 2.42 days
Zhar system: 2.71 days (includes Gall and Kile)
Ryloth: 3+ days
Farstine: 5.13 days
Naboo: 5.96 days
Rishi: 6.83 days
Gall sounds pretty good. Plenty of starports, manufacturing centers and an Imperial stronghold to boot. Should be plenty of places to strike up a back alley conversation.
Rishi's not bad. It's got a "mining town" vibe with lots of importing and exporting opportunities. Could be a bit rough-and-tumble. _________________ Currently playing D&D 5E and painting an unholy amount of miniatures. |

Nice! Several of these should do the trick. I could make my own, of course, but for various reasons I really like to use locations that are referenced in at least some of the excisting material.
When I searched for "industrial planets" there is so much to sort through, and I always fall deep down a wookiepedia rabbit (womp rat) hole reading other stuff
Thanks a lot, guys! |
