There's the Galactic/Imperial Games, basically the Star Wars equivalent to the Olympics. There is very little details of it on Wookieepedia which says it was "different events with the fastest and skilled competing in races and contests, all of them exciting and dangerous." At least one event included sharpshooting.
There was the Blastboast 2000 on Echnos (Adventure Journal 4) which was the equivalent of a speeder demolition derby with weapons on a varying terrain course. |

I'd rather watch swoop chasing, as described in Black Sands of Soccorro. Swoop racing in an obstacle course. _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. Blastboat 2000 sounds like "Deathrace 2000", perhaps intentionally. Lots of potential there for a fun adventure! 8) _________________ Currently Running: Villains & Vigilantes (a 32-year-old campaign with multiple groups) and D6 Star Wars; mostly on hiatus are Adventures in Middle-earth and Delta Green |
