Well blob racing is wonderful, you have blobs racing threw an obstacle coures with random things that the blob has to either move threw, go around or get past in what ever way in can.

There's the Galactic/Imperial Games, basically the Star Wars equivalent to the Olympics. There is very little details of it on Wookieepedia which says it was "different events with the fastest and skilled competing in races and contests, all of them exciting and dangerous." At least one event included sharpshooting.

There was the Blastboast 2000 on Echnos (Adventure Journal 4) which was the equivalent of a speeder demolition derby with weapons on a varying terrain course.

I'd rather watch swoop chasing, as described in Black Sands of Soccorro. Swoop racing in an obstacle course.

Blastboat 2000 sounds like "Deathrace 2000", perhaps intentionally. Lots of potential there for a fun adventure! 8)
