He probably knew he didn't have a lot of time left, which is why he sold his voice rights to LFL/Disney back during the Obi-Wan series, so that he could always be Vader. |

I read/heard that he recorded a ton for Disney. Enough that they can use what he laid down to make any possible word or vocalization for Vader in the future.
