James Earl Jones died yesterday, at the age of 93.

He may have voiced a villain in SW, but he'll be one with the Force now. Clear skies, James Earl Jones, and thank you for all of your performances throughout your life.

True, 93 years is nothing to sneeze at.. AND He lived every day of it, giving us great memories...

He probably knew he didn't have a lot of time left, which is why he sold his voice rights to LFL/Disney back during the Obi-Wan series, so that he could always be Vader.

I read/heard that he recorded a ton for Disney. Enough that they can use what he laid down to make any possible word or vocalization for Vader in the future. Hopefully he will ALWAYS and forever be the voice of Darth Vader.
