				| I just wanted to say that what you have done so far is incredible. I can hardly wait to see what the end result will be like. I have always been a big fan of homemade apps for gaming but too be honest I have no clue how to do it. If you could recommend a language, sourcebook for info on how to use programming language and software to do the programming in I would love to learn to do this so I can do some creating myself. Thanks for any feedback and once again Great Friggin' Job!! | |

				| Just thought I would give people a heads up. RL has been hectic so I havent had the time to work on this project for a while now, but things are calming down and I should be releasing an update within a week or two unless something comes up again,

				| I made a minor update for the launcher, its only released for the Linux 64bit version at the moment sense I ran into some trouble with my virtual windows install that I need to fix before I can compile it for windows, in the meantime Ill try to get some time over to work on the database edit.
As a note on that, the first feature that will be added to the edit tool will be species, that is the ability to add, edit and delete the species. I'm hoping for a release by 6 of December for it sense RL is keeping be rather busy still.

Don't forget to report any bugs you find so I can improve on those things as well.

				| Hi erebus I have a problem running your program. I'm using Windows 7 so I dunno if thats a issue or not. After I run the updater and go to install the CG I get the error for SWCT.exe it says it can't open the file to save. | |

				| @Battlestar Yes that is a problem with Windows 7 as well as other OS when/if you install to a place you don't have write access to.
There are two solutions to this problem, you ether uninstall it, and then install it somewhere where you do have write access (like the "My documents folder" or similar), this is the recommended way to handle it.
The second option is to right click on the launcher/shortcut and select "run as administrator", this is not recommended sense if you do this with any program they could take control of things you don't want it to (My program doesn't do this but it is a good practice to not run programs as administrator anyway).

				| Bad news for those of you waiting for the data edit tool. I ran in to some trouble with time and some holdups in the development as well, so I won't be able to finish the first edit tool by tomorrow, I am still working on it however and hoping to be able to release it sometime during the next week.

This version of the database edit tool will allow you to add, edit and delete species.

Sorry about the delay but as I said, work is progressing on this tool.

				| That's not such bad news. Really bad news would be telling us that you're scrapping the project, or worse taking down all released versions and cutting off support. _________________

				| I would, in the most polite way, inquire about the tool here
I am a huge fan, and what you have done here is wonderful Erebus truly a great asset to have.

 Is it still being continued?
