I assume you mean Rocketpacks. |
Yeah, that's what I get for posting in a hurry.
And I agree with Bren: the stats are just simply wrong. _________________ Blasted rules. Why can't they just be perfect? |

As a linked question to all.. A while back in one game i had a pc with a jet pack go BOOM while he wore it (a npc put a hole in the fuel tank, he flew somewhere igniting the leakng fuel.. it reached the tank.)
What damage would you give for something like that?
IMO i set it at 1d per charge of fuel left. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

That seems like a good idea, perhaps charges + 1D.[/quote] _________________ My Biggest Beard Retard award goes to: The Admiral of course.. |

I'm more inclined to set the damage to one level no matter the fuel level for simplicity. Do you recall how much the damage was, Garhk? _________________ Blasted rules. Why can't they just be perfect? |

I wouldn't think it is as powerful as a thermal detonator. So probably damage set between a grenade and a thermal detonator. Between 5D and 10D. I'd probably set it at the lower end, but have a chance for the character to catch on fire for addtional damage per round thereafter. |

8d. he used one charge flying through a smoke screen to where the imp officer was, but frakked up his maneuvering, so landed head first into a tree. After spending 3cp to not be killed (he was wounded), the imp shot him in the jet pack, to show him he was not to be trifled with... then he spent his second charge (of 10 in the pack) to make a large arc back to the others... I gave him chances to see / smell the fuel leaking (but with only 2d+2 per, he bombed all 3 chances), and even ignored one of the others shouting at him....
So i had HIM roll when it would go boom.. got a 1 which ment the end of the round.... _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

Interesting. I especially like rolling to see when it would blow along with the warnings. _________________ Blasted rules. Why can't they just be perfect? |
