Has anyone seen any info on how many lightyears a hyperdrive (Class 1) can travel in a standard day or any other unit of time?

Short answer - no.

Slightly longer answer - hyperdrive moves at the speed of the plot. Rolling Eyes

Longer answer - hyperdrive doesn't work at a simple linear rate of speed. Ships move fast on well travelled and mapped routes and slow on less well known routes. Well travelled routes are also easier to navigate with lower chances of a mishap. Also, navigators can choose to take more time to lower the difficulty of navigation or plot a quicker, but riskier route.

The Revised and Expanded Rules lists the following rough guidelines to hyperdrive times:
Within a sector............A few hours to a few days
Within a region............A few hours to a few days
To a nearby region......Several days to weeks
Across the galaxy........Several weeks to several months

Some of the Sector Maps from WEG materials include both distances and hyperdrive times, e.g. Elrood Sector from the Planet's Collection, Flashpoint Brak, the Darkstryder campaign boxed set, and several of the Adventure Journals contained copies. This link has an example http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Kathol_sector

Little in SW D6 uses or references light years. The only exception I recall is that subspace transceiver ranges are in light years.

I think there are several other threads here that discuss the topic you raised.

Astrogation gazettewrs are helpful for this as they list a particular route using a Class I hyperdrive. For instance, Alderaan to Corellia is 6 hours. Alderaan to Coruscant is 16 hours. But Corellia to Coruscant is 4 hours. So it'd be faster to go from Alderaan to Coruscant to travel through the Corellian system first.
