Any good sources for adventure hooks that can be used for Star Wars?

There are great adventure hooks in:

- Platt's Starport Guide
- Wretched Hive of Scum and Villainy
- Hideouts and Strongholds
- Star Wars Adventure Journal (pretty much any one of them will have hooks, but it depends on what kind of adventure you want)
- Scum and Villainy (yes, the d20 book, but it had some good D6 writers that were helping on the project)

There's also a book out there called: "100 Science Fiction Adventure Seeds" Several of them can be applied to Star Wars, my girlfriend bought it at the local gaming shop for some ideas.

You can find it here on amazon.

Not a bad idea for someone looking for a little inspiration. For just over $20.

S John Ross (a GURPS writer/editor) wrote up this interesting article about "The Big List of RPG Plots"

Definitely a good read: http://www.io.com/~sjohn/plots.htm

Looks like a good read. I've already found a couple new ideas for the next time I play.

Thanks everyone. I completely forgot about some of the seeds in the old WEG materials. That gives me a good excuse to read through my entire collection!

BTW, the 100 Sci-Fi Adventures seeds is also available through RPGNow and DrivethruRPG:

I've ran at least half of the hooks in the WEG Star Wars 1E book.

I even made the one about searching for lightsaber technology in Old Ben Kenobi's hut (I think it was called "Jedi Heirlooms") into a sequel to "Tatooine Manhunt". I believed I renamed it "Another Tatooine Manhunt" after watching Another 48 Hours.

There are also dozens of adventure hooks in the 2E GM screen booklet (not the rare and expensive R&E screen, but the first 2E screen (white). The hooks are in sections like, Rebel, smuggler, scout/exploration, Force, etc.

The 2nd edition GM Guide was one of the half-dozen items I was missing from my collection. Managed to pick it up on Ebay in dang near pristine condition. I will be pillaging that one thoroughly for adventure ideas for my game (one of my coworkers is an RPG novice and is begging me to run something).

Now I am only missing the Classic Adventures books.
