Im going to use a spaceship looking like Starbug from Red Dwarf.

Sure, its a 'joke' ship, but it would fit right in our campaign. My thinking is that its a failed attempt by some Ship building company to try to corner a market for insectoid species.

Anyone know of any suitable ship (existing) stats to use?

The closest i can think of
Craft: Corellian Engineering Corp. XS-800 Light Freighter

Era: Rebellion
Source: Stock Ships (pages 21-23)
Type: Light freighter
Scale: Starfighter
Length: 30.2 meters
Skill: Space transports: XS-800
Crew: 1 to 2 (can coordinate)
Passengers: 8
Cargo Capacity: 115 metric tons
Consumables: 2 months
Cost: 37,500 (new)
Hyperdrive Multiplier: x3
Hyperdrive Backup: x15
Nav Computer: Yes
Maneuverability: 2D
Space: 6
Atmosphere: 330; 950 kmh
Hull: 3D
Shields: 1D+2
Sensors:
Passive: 15/0D
Scan: 30/1D
Search: 50/3D
Focus: 2/4D
Weapons:
Double Laser Cannon (fire linked)
Fire Arc: Front
Crew: 1
Skill: Starship gunnery
Fire Control: 2D
Space Range: 1-3/12/25

It is a little larger than what i remember that ship being, but it will do.

Sure why not, most light freighters are very similar except for the story fluff, appearance and some minor difference in stats.

I know there was a long table of 'quirks' for used ships floating around. I seem to have lost mine. Anyone knows what Im talking about?

Anyone can think of quirks associated with a ship marketed towards insecoids (from a non-insectoid point of view). Im thinking strange rungs in the gunwell (from being made for insect claws), weird staterooms, etc.

Edit: Any suggestion about an obscure ship producing company (preferrably bust around 0 ABY).

Weirdest quirk I can think of is instruments designed for an insects compound eyes.

And the flight controls might also be a bit weird looking..

What more..

-Weird atmosphere (default setting) kicks in when the ship is pushed to the max.
-Everything is designed from the point of view of a creature 'walking' in the ceiling (in claw holds).
-Well, developing the autochef idea, the hygiene department might also make the characters wonder (thinking about the two seashells in Demolition Man).

Sleeping facilities are hexagonal vertical holes in the floor about 2m deep. Easy to fit 10 'beings' in a small space.

Im thinking Gallofree Yards might be the designer of this ship. Given their continous financial problem, this was a 'cheap' way of cornering the market of light freighters for insectoids. The original run could be custom fitted for 10 different insectoid species when ordering the ship.
