|
|
Im going to use a spaceship looking like Starbug from Red Dwarf.
Sure, its a 'joke' ship, but it would fit right in our campaign. My thinking is that its a failed attempt by some Ship building company to try to corner a market for insectoid species.
Anyone know of any suitable ship (existing) stats to use? _________________ My Biggest Beard Retard award goes to: The Admiral of course.. |

Sure why not, most light freighters are very similar except for the story fluff, appearance and some minor difference in stats. |

I know there was a long table of 'quirks' for used ships floating around. I seem to have lost mine. Anyone knows what Im talking about?
Anyone can think of quirks associated with a ship marketed towards insecoids (from a non-insectoid point of view). Im thinking strange rungs in the gunwell (from being made for insect claws), weird staterooms, etc.
Edit: Any suggestion about an obscure ship producing company (preferrably bust around 0 ABY). _________________ My Biggest Beard Retard award goes to: The Admiral of course.. |

Weirdest quirk I can think of is instruments designed for an insects compound eyes. |

The Autochef settings should be interesting..... _________________ Blasted rules. Why can't they just be perfect? |

And the flight controls might also be a bit weird looking..
What more..
-Weird atmosphere (default setting) kicks in when the ship is pushed to the max.
-Everything is designed from the point of view of a creature 'walking' in the ceiling (in claw holds).
-Well, developing the autochef idea, the hygiene department might also make the characters wonder (thinking about the two seashells in Demolition Man). _________________ My Biggest Beard Retard award goes to: The Admiral of course.. |

Sleeping facilities are hexagonal vertical holes in the floor about 2m deep. Easy to fit 10 'beings' in a small space. _________________ My Biggest Beard Retard award goes to: The Admiral of course.. |

Im thinking Gallofree Yards might be the designer of this ship. Given their continous financial problem, this was a 'cheap' way of cornering the market of light freighters for insectoids. The original run could be custom fitted for 10 different insectoid species when ordering the ship. _________________ My Biggest Beard Retard award goes to: The Admiral of course.. |
