Long story short we had a campaign going in the late '90s where we were hunting down one of the PCs brother. The brother had done some bad stuff and the background for the PC (Vinn Starx was his name) just used "brother" as the name. The GM told the PC to come up with a name for Vinn's brother. The PC didn't so when the big showdown came to pass we had no name to call him. At that time soda companies were switching from the old narrow pop top cans to the wide pop tops. We all were drinking Mountain Dews in the new "Mega Mouth" can.........so Mega Mouth Starx was born. |

I can't claim this name but, I played for a while in a Saga Edition game with a guy who was playing an HK assassin droid. His actual registry information was long-gone (what with him being a refurbished 1,000 year-old droid) so he had long-since taken on a new designation.
His new "name": H1-N1. |

I used to roleplay on Star Wars Galaxies as:
Sleaso Doraat, a shady Ithorian spice dealer.
Diesal Dustflier, a professional gambler and Rebel pilot.
Diesal Dustflier's name and story has changed a bit. His current incarnation is as an NPC in the game I'm GMing:
Dysal Dustflier, a pro-Imperial freighter pilot/smuggler.
Best ship name:
Diesal Dustflier's ship, a Gallofree Yards YKL-37R Nova Courier, the Ornery Vynock. _________________ Also known as Kiss My Wookiee on Discord and Reddit. |

I happen to like Fallon Kell and Kelso Brand, aliases for the characters my brother and I used to play. I also like some of my current NPC names: Malibar, Churaccarowco, and Kite Calarian (I am especially proud of Churaccarowco because in our previous story arc, we had established a race of near humanoids in whose langauge "churaka" was the word for "attack". "Rauko" happens to mean "demon" in Tolkien's elvish language.) _________________ Or that excessively long "Noooooooooo" was the Whining Side of the Force leaving him. - Dustflier

Nope, named after a small town we like to stop and get burgers at on trips to visit family in Oregon. I like to make first names from geographical locations when I'm making Star Wars characters. I played a Twi'lek Engineer turned Bounty Hunter once, by the name of Lexi'tar, or Just Lexi when she was doing actual bounty hunting, although most of her aquisitions never actually knew her name, or saw her face. She liked the 'sinister power'/'unseen hand' approach to bountyhunting, driving terror into her targets. In reality she was a very nice person, but she hated slavers, which were her favored targets. _________________ -

Raavik Sodturner (Male Meris from a farming background) was a long-term character of mine. He was the group's medic and environmental guy. Ironically, he was also the best shot in the group with a Blaster (He ended up with 12d in both Blaster Pistol (specialisation) and First Aid, also picked up a few points in Medicine). Surprised a few NPCs with that one! Thought they'd go for the "easy target" because "a medic isn't good with guns" ... he he he he.
His MO:
He'd stand back like "a good medic", letting shots off at the mooks. Then when the "gun bunny" kept on missing the leader guy with regular shots, stepped up, said "For crying out loud!" and would take off the leaders head with a called-shot. |

I was slightly drunk when I wrote up an example for my new Dun Moch rules, and I came up with two of my more creative tongue-in-cheek Star Wars names:
Darth Zilla and Generic Antilles
The thing is, if you ignore the definition of Generic, it's not a half bad character name... _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. It's expected that you will make up new rules to suit the needs of your game." - The Star Wars Roleplaying Game, 2R&E, pg. 69, WEG, 1996.
