Nice sheet. A couple of pointers:
-I woudn't include "metric tons" in the Cargo line. What if it's a starfighter that only carries a few kilograms?
-"Maneuverability" is spelled wrong.
-Each individual "Weapon" shouldn't have a plural title.
-You don't have enough space for the Crew Skill, as this normally includes around 3-5 skills with lengthy names.
-And yes there is a space for the ship picture, but it kinda intersects with the transponder code. I'd make the transponder smaller, to give the picture a bit more space to breathe.

Thanks, Gry. I'll get right on it. I also forgot to outline all text fields (it might look crappy if you don't have the fonts that I use).
Should I make a static "D" at the end of each Crew Skill row? |

I'd actually prefer it not to have any Ds anywhere. I find they look a bit awkward, flanked by normal handwriting. _________________ "He's Gry Sarth, of course he has the stats for them." |

These are really nice looking sheets but one thing I always look for is one with all the skills listed as some of my players writing is a bit ...erm..wonky.
Is this something you could add in?
I will definitely be using the ship sheet its awesome. |

Thank you, ccatkins. I'm glad you like it.
Once the sheet is finished you will be able to fill out all text-fields directly in the .pdf, thus getting the skills you need neatly typed in. With a bit of luck I'll have it done by tomorrow. |

Wow. Here's a guy who really knows how to fill a niche in a community. I'm glad we're attracting more builders. _________________ __________________________________

I might just got some Rakata genes urging me to build dark side fuelled character sheets. The thing is that we used to play 1ed back in the day and now that we picked up again, 15+ years later, I wanted a fresh start so I made some new sheets. That and the fact that I think it's great fun making them.
The GM screen has been put aside for a while (I need to GM more in order to get a sense what really belongs on the screen). What do you want to see next? |

How do you make those sheets fillable? I'd really like to apply the same thing to some of my work. Is it done in Acrobat or what? _________________ "He's Gry Sarth, of course he has the stats for them." |

Your stuff rocks, HAACP. Can't wait to see more!
I've also been working on a GM Screen for 2E R&E. But it's been months since I started and I've been moving pretty slow, so I don't know when it's going to be finished. (Using Inkscape, by the way; saving as svg files before 'porting as pdfs.) _________________ The Enteague Sector | Cracken's Collection of Crackpots

Correct. I use Acrobat 9 Pro, but I think that function was added back in Acrobat 7 Pro. Sadly the Reader version don't have this function so it has to be the a Pro version.
I mainly use Indesign CS4 while creating my sheets and is cuts down the time on creating fillable fields A LOT. Highly recommended even if the program drives you half mad sometimes. The primary advantage with Indesign is that you can outline all the fonts used meaning that other readers don't need the fonts installed (making them kind of like images).
So get your hands on a pro version of Acrobat and send me a PM and I'll walk you through it. Or, if interest arises, I can write a small guide. Is is ridiculously easy once you know how. |

Is there any way to save the text? Otherwise I will have to type the full skill list for all characters, but I'm lazy and would rather only have to do it once (or get someone else to do it ) |

Did you try to just save the document? It might be a option for the pro version, I cant really be sure. That is how I do it anyway. |
