..of Mount Tantriss?
Not sure if any info exists, so even your best (educated) guesses are welcome.
Im thinking of having my players 'stumble' on the storehouse in the beginning of the Rebellion period.
Edit: Hmm, it seems I was confused by a passage in the Thrawn Trilogy Sourcebook saying that Joruus C'baoth defeated the Guardian. That conflicts with the other info saying Joruus was the Guardian, which seems to be the correct fact. |

C'baoth tells Thrawn that he defeated, it's neither confirmed or denied so far in the trilogy. I'll let you know after I read the other two. |

I read them so many years ago I cant remember much more than there was a blue bad guy and force repelling monkeys (wich I now know are reptiles from wookiepedia). |

C'boath. At least the clone is. The DE sourcebook on page 37 states
Quote: | Palpatine never knew if Thrawn guessed that he was being used to divert attention from his own return.
C’baoth was a more curious case. Thrawn was brilliant enough to realize only an insane Dark Jedi would violate the Emperor’s ban ordering them all into silence years ago. While they waited in their castles for their Emperor’s command. Thrawn had sought out the one who would have forgotten all such orders years ago. It was most satisfying to watch the mad Jedi’s mind unravel.
And, then there were Mara Jade and the Noghri. They would all have to be punished for their treason ... in time.
When both Thrawn and C’baoth were slain, he knew it was time to announce his return. |
Even the Thrawn Trilogy Sourcebook specifically states he's the Guardian of Mount Tantis on page 57.
Quote: | Jedi Master Jorus C'baoth was well known in the Old Republic. He negotiated treaties between war ring aliens, fought the enemies of the Old Republic, and participated in the noble Outbound Flight project. C'baoth was the epitome of a Jedi Master.
And then something changed.
At some point, and no one knows for sure exactly when, Jorus C'baoth was cloned. Joruus C'baoth was born.
Thrawn found Joruus C'baoth on a world called Wayland, while searching for the Emperor's hidden storehouse. Over the years, Joruus has become somewhat confused over who he was. He did not remember that he was the Emperor's Guardian of the Mount Tantiss facility. Instead, he believed that he killed the guardian and then took control of both Mount Tantiss and the world of Wayland. To Joruus's twisted thinking, he served no Emperor. His power was his alone, and it served him well. |
If you look at the last paragraph on page 57 it says that his memories are shattered. I.E. he doesn't remember he's the guardian so he believes he himself killed the guardian. _________________ FLUFFY for President!!!!

This is during a time when the Emperor is alive. Reading the Thrawn Sourcebook it mentions that there is some traffic at the storehouse. Sometimes the Emperor or some of his most trusted officials visited for different reasons.
But their main concern will be to avoid the 'dark presence' felt, which of course will give me the choice to which areas they will discover. In any case they will most likely not understand what they have found, or not the complete picture anyway. |
