The Star Wars Databank

So, I have wanted to buy my own domain for a while now and recently bit the bullet and bought my own domain with a hosting plan. Over the last few months I have been putting together a website idea that had been jumping around my brain for at least a year now. Some of you have already seen this in my early stages of debugging and it is my no means completed yet, but I think it shows what I want it to become.

I will need your help to make it a good source for Star Wars and Star Wars D6 information, so If you see something that I am missing (or something is wrong) on there, let me know and we will get it running. If there is anything you want to add to the site, again, let me know and I will see what I can do to get it up there!

I have been working with Gry for some time now trying to take his PDF books and put them into a database. The idea originally came from the Star Wars Character Creator that I made a while back, but has evolved into a web based application. Up to date I have only added the species book, but am looking at starting one of the other books soon.

Right now you can only search species by name, but I will add the ability to search by other criteria as we move forward.

So without further ado, I present to you the Star Wars Databank!

In the near future, I will be asking select members of the community here to help me manage this resource, so hopefully there will be a few more people you can talk with to get changes happening on the site faster.

But yeah, I tried the translator and it took me to a 402 error.

I just checked on the site and was QUITE shocked to learn the following:

This site has served over 1GB of files in the last month! glad to see people are using it

I thought of a quick and dirty way to put most of the informaiton up there, so I am going to try to find time in the near future to put the other books in the searchable database
