Ok, so the basics here is that the Draugr-class were made to serve the Republic as primarily anti-starfighter escort ships during the Clone Wars. The people who made them were convinced to remain in the Republic and a few months after the start of the Clone Wars began building the Draugr-class specifically for the war effort.
The design used is actually supposed to vaguely resemble Acclamators and Venators as the folks that made the Draugr-class based it's appearance on them, but still had it clearly not be a Rothana or KDY design. Though I'm not sure the pic above actually conveys that appearance. _________________ FLUFFY for President!!!!

...From a distance it reminds me of the starfighters the Jedi were using early on. I think that's good enough to show Republic affiliation! _________________ The man who thinks he knows everything is most annoying for those of us that do. |

Reminds me of the BR-23 Courier from the Rules of Engagement sourcebook.

I'm not an artist, or that good at art. If I've got a picture or something I can use as a model I'll do a little better trying to copy the appearance, especially if it's not too intricate in appreance. Most often I either do an alter of a pre-exsisting pic or I use a program like HeroMachine to do the pic I want. When it comes to a 3D image (as in giving the object dimensions, not as in the you need special glasses) I use some program and am limited to what the program gives me.
That's what happened here. Started off with a ship that vaguely resembed a Star Destroryer and then I add in elements to get the bridge, etc. The basic design does kinda resemble the BR-23 and if I'd just added some downward wings I thnk it would have looked even more like it. _________________ FLUFFY for President!!!!
