...and a computer fast enough for me to start doing some computerizing of my work. Gonna start posting some stuff here. Some Star Wars, some not. Feel free to comment if you like, or not.
I'm starting off with the lightsabers I designed for my first Jedi character, my namesake here...Skyler Masters.
And yeah, for those of you who also have the SW Technical Journal, I'd just gotten that when I drew these, so I was all into labeling them like they do in the book. hehehe |

Here's what they look like when joined together. I got a LOT of crap about copying Darth Maul when I was showing this to people. I had to explain to them that I'd come up with that well before EPI I came out. If anything I was copying Exar Kun, because his was the first example I'd ever seen of a double-bladed lightsaber. I'd wanted mine to be different, so I made two that joined with a magloc in the pommel of each. It worked out well in game, because I'd only let the GM know about it before I pulled them out and joined them both. I got a lot of 'ooohs' and 'aaaahs' that first time...hehehe |

Good quality pencil work there, sir!
Not a bad lightsaber design at all... I definitely see the Kun influence. _________________ Hotaru no Hishou; a messageboard about games, friends and nothing at all.

Indeed. Darth Maul is an Exar Kun poser, not the other way around. Exar Kun is also far better written, even allowing for the fact that Kevin J. Anderson is one of the weaker Star Wars authors. _________________ Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid. |

I love Exar Kun. The Tales of the Jedi comics are my favorite of the SW expanded Universe.
I don't suppose any one has Exar's Stats? _________________ -The Wookie has no pants- |

Thanks for the compliments, everyone! I've wanted to get some drawings up on here for years. Alas, the lack of a scanner and a decent computer have put me well behind the power curve.
However, I've finally gotten not only a scanner, but a computer fast enough to support Corel Painter X, which I also now have. I've started brushing up on that again; I got an associates in Graphic Design about 8 years ago, but without the hardware to keep active my skills have been rusting away, at least on the digital side. I'll post more scans as I get them online, and when I start generating some digital art I'll get that up too.
Now I just need to get and learn Poser...hehehe |

And for my friends in Jamfke's game in the PbP threads...here's a preliminary sketch of my character, Cal Jeth. The paper's a bit crinkled because I've been carrying that around for a long time. I'm gonna have to fix him up in Painter, then repost him...
