Think I got an Anakin, but I'm not sure. I know they were supposed to be a Jedi. But they didn't come close enough for me to really tell if they were any particular Jedi (considering most of the costumes are Anakin or Obi-Wan it was probably one of those two). Thing that gets me was their age. I like to put on a scary, or at least slightly scary, costume and try to scare to older kids while I'll take it off for the really little kids to show thm I'm just a man in a costume (t-shirt and jeans on underneath so there's no exposing myself to the kids in case any of you got preverted ideas from my saying taking off the costume). Now I've managed to scare older kids usually because they think I'm a prop and they jump when it's made clear I'm not. But they always have to get up close before they might get a scare. This kid was like between 9 and 12 years old and was too scared to come close enough to even say trick or treat. His friend, older brother, or cousin who I'd estimate was in the same age range, maybe two years older if the kid was twelve, had to get the candy for him. I almost had to take my mask off for someone I'd never have to do so. And my last trick or treater of the evening (I've got a better idea of her age since she lives right across the street and is around three or four I'd say) was in the age range I'd take the costume off for and was braver than this kid (of course that might have also been cause she was in her father's arms, but there didn't look to be any fear in her eyes). How ridiculous does that seem?

Hey, the little kids aren't looking for a scare on Halloween really, their just after the candy. But for the older kids they want to get a scare. So it's fun to try and scare them, especially when after you do so and they calm down from it they start laughing about it.

Wow.

A couple days ago I finally saw the movie Serenity. I've never seen the show Firefly before, so I had no idea what I was going to see.

Now I get what all the hype was about. I'm going to have to find the DVDs for the show. I really liked the movie.

It's was fantastic but it basically sabotaged. Fox played the episodes out of order (including making 'The Train Job' the first episode rather than the pilot). It's well worth watching/owning though.

Merry Christmas, everyone.

I, alas, will be getting no break. I'll be working Christmas Eve night AND Christmas night. The only compensation is that on Christmas Eve night I'll be making triple time...

Where are you working Skyler? I thought I had a clue but now it sounds like I'm way off.

I assume that's triple time and a day in lieu, you should be accumulating a nice bundle of leave as you always seem to work the holidays.

It's still bites spending Christmas at work though.

He works for the US postal service, unless he's changed jobs recently. So piss him off or he goes postal. Wink

That's what I thought, Orgaloth, which makes me perplexed.
