(*Humour warning*)
As mentioned before I'm currently playing a Twi'lek Jedi Padawan in a new Star Wars game. In the progress of an adventure we had to take out a minor Quarren crimelord who was running a casino on a backwater industrial planet.
My idea was to pose as a dancer looking for work, so I could get close to him. As security was kinda tight, and a lightsaber is pretty much the only weapon my character can handle, I had to get subtle...
Now my dilemma was: what would you expect to find in the purse of an exotic dancer that:
a) looks non threatning (at least in a weapony sort-of-way)...
b) has an energy signature...
c) has the approximate shape and size of a lightsaber...
d) you don't really wanna examine too closely...
After some slight modifications by a Verpine technician we had a brand-new kind of technology: The Vibro-Lightsaber!
Kind of a hilarious situation when my character wanted to "persuade" the crimelord to surrender, pushed the wrong button and the thing suddenly goes "Brrrrrrrr" instead of "Bzzzzzz"...
And yes, I know Jedis have been expelled from the order for lesser offenses. I hope nobody will find out... _________________ They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.--Benjamin Franklin |

Somehow I just knew this was coming.
*facepalm*

That's much more creative than what I'd have done. In one of the novels I read (I forget which one) Luke mentioned that the lightsaber tends to show up in weapon scans as a sort of shaving device.
I'd have gone along that route but this makes for a much better story! _________________ Don't waste money on expensive binoculars.

Ah, the things women can get away with that a man couldn't. A crime lord finds one of those in a guy's pocket, he might just shoot him on principle. |

I liked that you could geta verpine to modify it, my question is how do you explain what it is pretending to be to a Verpine?

Perhaps she convinced the verpine drone it was a massager. That said chitin probably doesn't massage too well either. _________________ Don't waste money on expensive binoculars.

It beats the alternative. If that is there then where is your lightsaber!? Ouch! Now I know why Obi-won stress how important is is not to loose track of your lightsaber. |

I wonder if Gry is going to post stats for this thing?
And do the make training ones so the Padawans don't hurt themselves too much trying to master it? |
