Well, it's a nice concept draw.
It looks like an Y-wing equiped with a streamlined body for atmosphere flight.
Stats should be the same except Hull 4D+2 and Maneuvrability 1D+1 (space) 2D ( atmosphere). I'm not sure speed has to be reduced... _________________ Phalanks

I have seen this episode of Clone Wars "Shadow of Malevolence". My first take on these Y-wing were ooh Ralp McQuarrie's design of the Y-wing. My second was yes finally they're confirming the Republic did use Y-wing in Clone Wars. And finely with one look I realized that what a off the assembly line Y-wing probably should look like.
This model is a BTL-B Y-wing, or the turret Y-wing. There appearance kind of reminds me of some of the real world tractor-trailer trucks you see on the roads today with their side cowlings. The cowlings are meant to make the trucks more streamlined but when repairing anything on the underside of the truck it makes it near impossible to do so. I imagine that the other models of Y-wings had these cowlings originally but over decades of service they were removed to facilitate repairs and weren't replaced because it allowed repairs to done quicker. |

I remember some fluff text somewhere for the Y-wing that said rebel techs left the panels off for ease of repair. _________________ Blasted rules. Why can't they just be perfect? |

It's been stated, that the Rebellion used any material at hand to get fighters and bombers together. The Y-Wing we see in the Original Trilogy is probably the stripped-down version of the Clone Wars fighter; scavenged from wrecks, built from spare parts and brought into uniform look again by substituting parts of the fuselage with easier to obtain materials.
I haven't got my books with me, but I think I used some homebrew stats with weaker shields (because the CW-YWing is older) but a pip more hull because of the stronger frame. _________________ RPGGamer (featuring a big portion of DLOS-stats!)
