If a ship is fully ionized are the droids aboard ship effected and dose it cause electricity to arc through corridors.
Also can it effect personnel on the ship. |

I always thought it only affected the ship itself. I can envision it affecting the droids if it was plugged into a system that was ionized however. |

I second that. A standard ion attack shouldn't affect the crew (whether droid or biological). An overwhelming ion barrage could possibly affect droids inside... As far as I remember, WEG doesn't consider Ion weapons to affect organics in any way, though in d20 organics take half-damage from Ion weapons. _________________ "He's Gry Sarth, of course he has the stats for them." |

Although I once had a cyborg directly linked into the ship when we got hit by a heavy ion cannon... _________________ This new hand, it's a fightin' hand! |

Agreed. If the droid is plugged in directly to the ship (like r2 units on an xwing, they too will get shut down.
As for people, the closest i have had, was a console blowing up in someone's face for 3d+1 damage... _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

Just for confirmation, I was just reading the 1st X-Wing novel, and in a scene Corran gets his X-Wing ionized, and his astromech, Whistler, is disabled with it. _________________ "He's Gry Sarth, of course he has the stats for them." |

Well, if it FULLY ionized, then I'd say your comm system is inoperative and you can't receive electronic messages. _________________ "He's Gry Sarth, of course he has the stats for them." |

Agreed. Now if an enemy is close enough they might be able to reach you on your personal com links. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

At least the Escape Pods still work. Maybe that's why Yoda flies around in one? |
