Nope. It says each time you wish to redirect a bolt it is a control roll. Each time therefore is another action. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

Sorry, meant it was unclear on the Parry part, not the redirect part. |

Quote: | TotJ and R&E are badly worded, saying that you can use LS Combat to parry, but not if it is rolled per shot or one roll for all, but implies that it is one parry for the round, and one per shot to control where it hits.
I would say, if you have four shots coming in, one roll to parry. If you want to deflect two of the shots, three rolls, one to parry the shots, and two rolls to reflect the shots back.
I think the difficulty in parrying or dodging multiple shots, even though you only have to roll once, is the combined fire rules. 10 people combining fire can add 3D+1 to roll to hit (added to the highest skilled person) basic Stormies would roll 7D+1, Commandos 10D+1 (Lightsaber + Control would have to be 12D+1 to have even odds to parry, 13D+1 to be at even odds to parry and reflect one bolt) |
That's how I use it in my games. One parry action per round, one extra action to redirect the shots (with the control skill). If I'm fighting with a melee weapon, One parry per round to defend against melee attacks; one additional action if I need to dodge a blast (different skill).[/quote] _________________ www.obidancer.com - RPG Character Portraits and Art.

Actually the book is clear on this one. It does clearly stipulate that a Force Point doubles all actions within a 5 second round.
What isn't clear is various penalties and bonuses go before or after the double.
If you're wounded, does your wound penalty double? What about concentration bonus? _________________ Nihilism makes me smile. |

I stand corrected. Force points double the dice pool after all other modifiers. I think. |

Oh wound modifiers are resolved before the force point doubles the dice pool. |

As I mentioned earlier penalties come off before the doubling takes effect. The example in the rulebook shows this. _________________ Don't waste money on expensive binoculars.
