worked on a food and drink list provided by scott2978 this weekend. I added game stats and prices to his quite extensive list.

Thanks for the great work scott2978, it truly is amazing how much work he put into it. will post it soon.

As to Space Coyote's suggestion I think we should further break this down to individual species names like in the WOTC guidebook but increase this to more species, plus also generic names that can also be put in anywhere.

I seem to remember in the GG dealing with aliens they had a few suggestions for each species.

I'm still working on the ideas of ship names and parts, thank you to all the people working on this and making this a collorabative project.

I thinking about also a list of corporations in the star wars universe and what they do. I 've seen some lists in differnent sourcebooks but I think a nice comprehensive list would be great.

If I'm not mistaken, some of the new Saga books have some very good lists of Star Wars companies.

Maybe we could classify them by if they have any affiliations with the Empire, rebellion, old republic , etc and in what era they were prevalent in.

I don't know how feasible this is but could help GM have a ready list of targets for their groups or when coming up with new equipment can add a sense of legitimacy if you have a company name to attach.

They could also be springboards for adventure ideas.

For example, Azure motorworks CEO died in a suspicious vehicle accident. Insiders are blaming the accident on their rivals Desier Gizh Outworld Mobility Corporation. Independant investigators (the characters) were called to find out the cause of the accident.

Any more idea keep them coming Very Happy

What about common drugs? Like DeathSticks, or more legal drugs, like Medical drugs? What they do and whatnot. Also poisons, their effects and the STR Difficulty to resist them, or the Detoxify/Detox other roll needed.

great idea Darth Mortis I think Gry's equipment guide has alot of these drugs and poisons but maybe not all of them, I will look into it.

Oh boy a big thank you to scott2978, he just send me a ton of stuff to go through and it looks fantastic. Here's a few things that I think will go great in the sourcebook.

A Random junk chart, how many times have you had a character want to pilfer a dead opponent's body or a pickpocket with this chart you don't just have to say you found 50 credits and a pack of fizzychew.

A random cargo chart for those pirate crews out there.

A very long slang and swear word list.

A list of raw materials for what things are made of.

A very awesome starship damage chart that should work very well.

I was just curious if any more headway has been made on this project? I think it sounds like a great idea and would definitely use it. I have quite a few of the things mentioned but all in seperate files on my hard drive. It would be great to have them all in one spot. I am willing to help do some research or compile some lists if you need the help.

It doesn't look like you've single handedly killed a thread. But it looks like this thread is about getting ideas for general every day things that we'd need in roleplaying adventure background and such.

Really, you could start compiling all the information everyone has been talking about, motivate others, and get a good collection and get help to put it into a net book.

If you're willing to do the work, you could carry the idea through.
