Over on classicbattletech.com, someone was asking about how to do a deathrace in the battletech universe.. That got me thinking.
What would it be like for that in the starwars realms...?? Could make for a great adventure as say one of the PCs gets hoodwinked into participatig and the others have to help him or her survive.

Speeders instead of ground venicles and maybe the prize is the only hyperspace capable ship in system. Why? the empire, a hutt sponsored event
on one of their planets go nuts. |

The adventure "Enemies for Life" presented in the Adventure Journal and in Classic Adventures 4 contains a very similar competition called "BlastBoast 2000", basically a demolition derby with landspeeders. The adventure contains three different speeders and a map for the course.
