New User: Sif reporting for duty.

Hello all.

Me and my crew of RPG nerds (a tight group gaming for many years across a slew of table-topper games) have recently purchased a few WEG books and started playing Star Wars.

We are all huge fans of the movies (few of us read the books, not me.) and when Star Wars introduced as "our next game system" the crowd went wild. I have never seen so many starry eyes and wide smiles.

We have already gone on three adventures and things are going pretty darn smooth with the players enjoying every step of the way! D6 Star Wars has been great thus far.

But, most importantly, let me explain why.

This board, this site, you posters (huge tip of the hat to Gry! Much love!) and all the shared love for Star Wars found between everyone here are the greatest addition to our games.

We just started playing last week, and our Friday night game has turned into a three day adventure dragging on to late Sunday night (sleep was allowed for the weak and monday has been saved for rest). I have never seen a three day rpg-fest in this house since we were all kids playing D&D 1st E!

Let me just say, you guys have made a bunch of RPG junkies very happy over here, and we all are enjoying this game overly, thanks to Rancorpit and its awesome members.

We now have all of Gry's books printed, pages slipped in protective sleeves and placed in binders (amazing collection to behold! THANK YOU SIR!), and the posts on this board have made it amazingly easy to learn the D6 system.

So...point being.

I am Sif.

I love this place.

I hope to help you guys as much as you guys help us.

Welcome to the board.

I myself have just started recently, on the forums. I have been playing D6 for a very long time and get that itch every once and a while.

Mostly I have played D6 on IRC, for a long time on dal.net with the same crew for years. Online campaigns slowed down, then so did FF, then stopped altogether.

That is about it for me.
