This might be a really stupid idea, but I was thinking that the Rancor Pit Community Members could worked together to create an "Unoffical" Star Wars RPG D6 supplement.
Though I don't have a clue what it would be about.
something like these:

What do you guys think? |

People have posted some of their home made stats on here so someone could go through the various threads, if they wanted, and put together a supplement. There's also home made stats on places like The Rebel Roleplayers Alliance . Such sites could themselves be viewed as supplements, as well as sources for finding actual WEG SW material in some cases. Still, I'm sure if folks here wanted to (hey, we do have a thread for jointly creating an adventure), that you'd find several of us who wouldn't mind contributing. _________________ FLUFFY for President!!!!

I think it's a good idea...maybe coming up with stuff that has sprung up since WOTC got the license, like the Clone Wars, the rise of the Empire, what happens in between the two trilogies, etc. Those are just some suggestions of possible topics that could be approached by taking some of the d20 material and converting it to d6. _________________ "Come down," the gunslinger said. Ok, first step. Let's hit the ships and equipment forum. I think there are several stats Ray posted in their in just the past month alone. One can get a ton of stuff there for probably two supplements. _________________ FLUFFY for President!!!!

First, let's pick a theme for the suppliment.
I suggest: More Fragments from the Rim.

*Reading "Fragments of the Rim"* I'm in for that!!!
Or just try for "The Star Wars Unofficial Sourcebook", and have whatever we bloody well please in it. Smattering of everything.
Aw heck, I'm in for anything, really.
Current idea is for a series of lines of Power Armour, for Mercs and Bounty Hunters! |

Why have a theme at all for one to begin with? Why not merely do the first one without a theme, simply letting it be a general treasure trove covering numerous areas. Then do others where a theme is what it's all about.
Not that I'm trying to pick on you, Volar. I think eventually having a theme is a good idea. But I look at something like the second edition revised and expanded rulebook, and it's always seemed to me that the second half of the book is like a sourcebook where the only real theme is everything is Star Wars. I think starting with such a simple deal, all that causes things to be related is that their all Star Wars related material, may be a good way to get started chiefly because there are already homemade stats already on these forums that can be put into a first start sourcebook. Then once that's done get more creative. _________________ FLUFFY for President!!!!

OK, damn you all.
My mind's been working overtime!!!
Getting the start of ideas for a description of Computer Systems in the Star Wars Universe (From DataPads to the huge mainframes of Coruscant)...
And another thought that I had... One of the best parts that I liked about the rulebooks were the Advertisements! Nice addition to throw into a game, type thing. So, who wants to do one for Corel & DuVal??? |

Corel & DuVal?
I agree, the ads are great. The one for R2 astromechs in the second edition, revised and expanded rulebook caused me to do a little animated commercial for my website. Though I should have slowed it down a little since the text goes by a little too fast. Kinda just an R2 using it's holoprojector to advertise some of it's abilities.
Edit: Never mind the question, I just found out once I got down to the ships and equipment forum. _________________ FLUFFY for President!!!!
