Believe me, as someone who works in IR I wouldnt call windows a good OS. |
The operating system is good for what it's meant for : User friendliness. If there weren't so many viruses made for Windows it would be a much better operating system. |
I actually think MACs are more user friendly. I am a PC person but I have considered making the switch. |
Depending on what kind of user you are. MAC's aren't exactly friendly to gamers. _________________ "I believe the Jedi are weak so they give up their emotions. Well I don't play games on the computer. What I am probably going to do is just switch to Linux and get rid of windows totally. |

What kind of Linux are you going to get? I had Linux on this computer for a while, but I couldn't get the media player to work so I scrapped it. And yes, music is that important to me. It was probably because it was an older version of Linux (no I don't remember what it was, it was a few years ago, when I didn't know anything about computers) _________________ "I believe the Jedi are weak so they give up their emotions. I recommend Ubuntu. I've already gotten it to the point where I can make all of my media work, now it's just a matter of sitting down and figuring out what I need to to do to get the wireless working. Once I do that, I will never use Windows again if I can help it. If I do want to do any computer gaming, there's always WINE. _________________ Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid. |
