You have to remember that some creatures/players will be able to break open at least the doors on bunkers with a good role/force point expenditure. My most recent character is an Esoomian which can have 7d in strength (Tantor the bounty hunter in General Craken's most wanted is also an Esoomian). And Esoomian's have hooves (at least partially) so a good kick with a hooved leg and I can fully visualise a door being forced open.
Esoomian stats can be found on this very site

I can't remember reading THAT anywhere. But, my first thoughts would be: If a player is being stupid (or an egomaniac) trying to kick in a blast door, then it's capital scale. If, however, his kicking in the blast door is really cool somehow (or heroic), then it's not capital scale.
These things are variable...at least, behind the director's screen. The players would not see any difference. _________________ Know Jesus, Know Peace.

yeah, that's a good point also, when it's in a heroic situation and trying to save his friends or whatever... hmmm, but we don't usually run in to too many blast doors in our games |

8) As director, I like blast doors for protecting bunkers or sealing off space ships/space stations during boarding actions. It give the player with demolitions skill something cool to do. _________________ Know Jesus, Know Peace.

Or you can do it the Han Solo way and just shoot the control pad
If it's good enough to work on the Death Star... |

...actually, it wasn't good enough for the Death Star.
But that is another fun skill that gets a lot of use in our game. Demo is used only when security fails. _________________ Know Jesus, Know Peace.

I nabbed that quote for the Battle Lords game. _________________ "My schooling not only failed to teach me what it professed to be teaching, but prevented me from being educated to an extent which infuriates me when I think of all I might have learned at home by myself." - George Bernard Shaw |

I've often found that demolitions can be used best when it is being used in a stealthy way. lke sabotoging my enimies weapons, ships, or speeders, or using them as a distraction. _________________ 'God gave you grace to purge this place
