Adventure Nuggets

Several years ago I had copied and printed some Adventure Nuggets from the Chaos Crew website. Each one had a basic plot line, along with several variations or possible twists that could be added. I lost them somewhere along the way and was wondering if anyone else had them.

I've been searching for anything from the old Chaos Crew site without luck! I would second the sharing of any CC materials.

I have all of the Dreighton Terminus files from their site if anyone wants those. I have a sector map and files on each major planet (6 or 7) in the sector.

The information within the files puts the time frame as during the prequels. The Republic maintains a moderate force in the sector.

My current campaign I am running has my player characters as part of a Rebel team in the Terminus. The new sector Gov. sided with the Empire, and the Empire is in the process of moving in.

Capsule: Des Sona is a quiet world with just about everything under the sun. The planet offers hotels overlooking velvet-soft beaches, travel to lush tropical valleys, crystal clear water, and mammoth mountains. There is a world-class vacation party town, two flourishing tourist destinations, and dozens of quiet, rural hamlets surrounded by native agricultural fields, plantations, and wild orchards.

Des Sona has a wide variety of plant, marine, and animal life. Vegetation zones include: coastal, dry land forest, mixed open forest, rain forest, sub-alpine, and alpine. There is only two seasons – ‘summer’ (really warm) and ‘winter’ (slightly less warm). The climate is subtropical, with a normal annual temperature of 77˚F, making the planet the most peaceful, restful, haven of refuge for a worn traveler the Dreighton Terminus has to offer.

Des Sona is probably the only place in the sector where every single racial group and species is a minority – one of the most harmonious gatherings of people. At least a third of the population is of mixed ancestry. According to the Des Sona Office of Immigration Affairs, the last study conducted several years ago estimated that there were only 80,244 pure natives – about 0.7 percent of Des Sona’s total population – vanishing race.

Many have embraced outsiders, since visitors are Des Sona’s major source of income. Tourism (nearly 70 million visitors per year) accounts for more than one-third of the planetary income. The Republic military pumps 3 billion credits a year into the economy into various shipyards and other facilities, while agriculture comes in a distant third.

However, beneath all this shine, there is a layer of scum and villainy. Various crime syndicates and organizations have taken root, providing the seamy side of life – all kinds of vice and decadence. The climate is perfect for cultivating drugs and other illicit pharmaceuticals. The remoteness of some villages provides hidden landing fields, despite the often heavy Republic presence in orbit. It’s a side of the planet that doesn’t get talked about much, but it’s there.
