Wow Es, harsh. I would consider something like that a darkside point. _________________ "For over a thousand generations, the Jedi Knights were the guardians of peace and justice in the Old Republic. Before the dark times... before the Empire. "

Yeah a lot of GMS would.
It's easier to explain it with the DSP version than explain the way to fake it so as to avoid the DSP
Some GMs however take the line that if you are not force sensitive then you can only get a DSP by spending a force point to do something evil |

Why would it be hard to explain to fake it? It would be just as easy to stun them two at a time, throw on into some cargo hold or something metal with an open comlink turned on, then throw a second comlink turned on in the cargo hold with something to magnify the sound so as to be heard outside the airlock (perhaps the airlock has it's own intercom and that's turned on), wait till both are awake, one pounding on the walls demanding to be let out, and the other unable to see into the airlock, but able to hear what sounds like someone in the airlock, then vent the comlink so they think you vented a live person. _________________ FLUFFY for President!!!!

Yes but the trick is to have jettison enough meat product right by the porthole at the right time so it looks like the results of flash freezing combined with explosive decompression
It's the little touches that really inspire terror |

But you don't have to have meat fly by a porthole because you don't actually need a porthole. The whole idea as I see it is to have them think they saw you jettison someone. Even if they don't see any meat, they'll think they watched you jettison someone when they can no longer hear them. _________________ FLUFFY for President!!!!

Psychological and Propaganda Warfare in other words.
PsyOps are "Fear Tactics". Or mental torture. Playing really bad music at an ear bleeding sound level for example.
Propaganda Warfare is designed to get the Civilian (And the Enlisted Men) of the opposing force doubt their leaders. Dropping bombs filled with leaflets rather than dropping bombs filled with explosives, that sort of thing.
I've seen a few from World War II. They were plain hilarious! Particularily the Nazi ones aimed against France and England.
BTW, most military units really hate doing it. And most of the leaflets were used as toilet paper.
If you want, I could see if I could dig up some links for ya. |
