Hello,

I'm a long time player of games, rpgs and board games. The group of friends I'm playing with now includes several big time star wars fans, so I am thinking of picking up a Star Wars rpg to run. (I consider myself a more casual SW enthusiasts, definitely not a guru by any stretch).

I played a session or 2 of one of the West End star wars games many years ago that a friend GMed. If I recall the cover correctly it was 2nd Edition. My character was a young Jedi. He tried to jump out of the airlock of the party's ship, across the small gap in space, grab onto the space pirates' ship, and force his way into their airlock all while using the force to protect himself from the vacuum of space. He died.

Hello all. I'm a long time SW fan (my first theater going experience, when I was 5 yrs old), and have been involved with the D6 RPG fairly consistently since the late 80's. From what I've seen so far I have no doubt that this is the best SWRPG forum going.

I've already benefited from the work done by posters to this site - many thanks to all who have contributed links, homebrew, etc. I've shamelessly harvested the product of your labor. I hope that in time I will be able to offer some things that others will find useful.
