I just want you all to know that I am getting very near to done completing all the ships stats for ships in Star Wars and Star Trek. I have been doing pain staiking research for the last 5 years in the technical manuals. Of course the things are not perfect but I just wanted to show you what I got! I also run my space combat rules to wear ships have a shield energy (number) and a shield resistance code. Same with the hull. This is an example so enjoy!! Now, I have pictures but hav'nt worried aboutgetting em on the site..just take a gander. And its a bit unorganized. They are all organized nicely in wordperfect though.

| weg already made lots of ship stats. You might also consider looking into the Star Trek rpg for their ship stats. |

| The only SW vs. Star Trek that I want to see would be in an infantry ground battle. I just would like to see what would happen since Stormtroopers are garunteed to miss and Redshirts are garunteed to get hit! |

Yeah right!
Feds miss bad guys just as much if not more than stormies. In fact, stormies do hit main characters more often than not. In ROTJ R2 and Leia got nailed with a shots from the hip from about 300 meters. They never hit anyone in ANH because Vader and Tarkin wanted them to escape so they could follow them to Yavin to give a little Death Star love’in.

Star Wars and Trek cannot be fairly compared or argued about as to which is better...that's mostly why the other thread got locked... |

Just wanted you all to know that my friend is GM'ing a Star Trek/Star Wars/Star control game using D6 WEG rules..holy crap..its fun. Sorry I don't have the stats for u online..they are on my puter. Someday I'll get them back up.

I like both Trek and Wars.
I don't like when Trek tries to be "scientific" and come up with stuff that defies physics. I like how Star Wars leaves that blank (except in some novels) and you can fill in a correct answer later.
And both prequels, Enterprise and Eps. I-III contradict normal continuity of each universe, tie game there.
But each has it's good and bad points.
