You might also try some of the more independently owned worlds. Places where the empire doesn't really have much sway in things. You could use places where you don't need to worry about likely imperial entanglements. _________________ "For over a thousand generations, the Jedi Knights were the guardians of peace and justice in the Old Republic. Go to a dodgy Space Station, Get rid off all your unloyal crew, and organize a recruitment session to hire hire all sort of individuals with one promise money; it always works!. The become a Privateer commanding your Custom Corvette; this way you'll work for the Alliance's interest and get your money and share of fame...
Treat your crew well, it will be loyal... |

Dodgy Space Station: Good idea, save my character has no experience with that. He had just escaped from the Imperial Military that has made up his life. And, if the Customs folks knew about a Dodgy Space Station, they'd have attacked it by now. But I'll see if I can find something in the computers.
Clearance Codes: GREAT IDEA!!! No... Wait... The "Ranking Officer" on board is an Ensign. No dice for that. There was a Lieutenant, but I... Kinda put a Blaster Bolt in his face. |

What about some operating books with the various required clearance codes in them or something of that nature? I doubt the ranking officer had only one or two clearance codes to memorize. And if you took the ship fast enough, there may not have been enough time for the codes to be disposed of. I would imagine they should be the latest codes.

They might not have attacked if if the station manager was slipping them a few credits under the table on a regualr basis. _________________ FLUFFY for President!!!!

Operating Books: Cool. I'll hype the ship to a clear area, lock the controls out again, and search the Captains Quarters. Might also find a nice uniform.
As for the Station Manager. *Face-Palms* I forgot how corrupt the Empire can truely be. |

Speaking of corrupt. Look through the crew records while you're there and check out the crew profiles. Some may be suseptible to bribery (or the promise of future bribery) Some may even be suspected of being rebel spies. You could get lucky |

That brings up another thought. Some may actually be stupid enough to believe you if you said you were on an undercover assignment to infiltrate the rebellion and kill some top leaders from the inside. But to get in you had to make it look like you had actually decided to defect. If their stupid enough you might even get away with claiming all the folks you killed were actually discovered by Imperial Intelligence to be undercover rebel agents. Probably not likely, but it's a thought. _________________ FLUFFY for President!!!!

If their stupid enough, you might be able to use your perception attribute. Con's a perception skill and isn't there something in the rules about if you don't have that skill and you're doing something that requires it you use the attribute dice? _________________ FLUFFY for President!!!!

OK forget about conning them Hows your intimidation.
Line up the 5 most loyal to the Empire stun them,
dump them into an airlock,
wait for them to recover,
vent the airlock,
Do this one at a time.
Do this in front of the five most easily cowed crew members you can find.
Start asking questions.
You may find people willing to help |
