I like the reformat and the cleaner look, my rendition was down and dirty... mainly to get it out in the hands of fellow gamers... But yet once again, I'm in awe of my fellow Star Wars gamers! _________________ "Well hello Mister Fancypants. New version of the Guide to Tie Fighters.
I just created a new cover page for the guide to tie fighters, the main change was giving FreddyB and his awesome site RPGGAMER.org credit.
The update link is here: http://www.box.net/shared/pcj133xusk
Eventually, I want to give credit to all the artist that I pilfered art work from! I'd also like to thank FreddyB for allowing me to use his stats and pictures!
if any one has any other changes for this Guide please forward them on to me and I'll make sure that they get updated. Especially any of the stats or artist/art work credit, etc. _________________ "Well hello Mister Fancypants. Does anyone have the y-wing Fan Sourcebook? I've heard rumors but have never found it online. |

Just started reading this for the first time, did you base the atmospheric lifeforms that inhabit Driscall on the 'atmospheric beasts' that were at one time hypothesized to live on Jupiter? |

Ok just wondering what the chances of getting ahold of an Uncencored version of the Starship R&E stat book is. I want to have it printed out but with out all those "Picture Removed" things in it. |

Hey Gry, have you or anyone else here done a sourcebook on the Lando Calrissian Trilogy (as well as Han Solo & the Lost Legacy)? _________________ The man who thinks he knows everything is most annoying for those of us that do. |

Oh yeah. It's very much inspired by 2010: Odyssey Two and the pilot episode of StarCom. _________________ The Enteague Sector | Cracken's Collection of Crackpots

I'm trying to remember, but Gry did you include stats for the Stinger & Starsaber fighters (Tales of the Jedi/KOTOR) in the starship guide? I tried going through my copy, but it isn't working for some reason. _________________ The man who thinks he knows everything is most annoying for those of us that do. |

Yes, I did include stats for both these starfighters. They were converted from the Power of the Jedi Sourcebook. _________________ "He's Gry Sarth, of course he has the stats for them." |

Thanks! I'm going to try downloading it one more time & see if that gets the kinks out. _________________ The man who thinks he knows everything is most annoying for those of us that do. |

Gry Sarth
I think I've found an error in the Starships book. The V-Wing has a Space rating of 17, twice as fast as an X-Wing, where, according to Wookiepedia, it has a MGLT of 75 which is halfway between the Y-Wing and X-Wing. This translates into a Space rating of either 7 or 8. I'd go with 8. |

Tks for the feedback, Silverback. The V-Wing's speed is something we've already discussed at length here in the forum. That old speed rating had been based on what little information was available at the time. When I released my conversions for the new Starships of the Galaxy Saga book, the V-Wing was already listed with a Space 8 rating.
When I release a new edition of the Starships book, it will be there. _________________ "He's Gry Sarth, of course he has the stats for them." |
