Ah it's a dirty job, but somebody's got to do it. I am currently working on Wat Tambor, he was involved in all kinds of crap during the clone wars, I am trying to hit the highlights, so that way if we do a clone wars sourcebook (down the road!!!) like we have talked about it will be new info.
Thanks

Exciting stuff! I'm new to the forums, and just getting back into SW roleplaying after over 10 years. I am glad to have found this forum dedicated to d6, and especially glad that folks like you are working on making prequel era d6 gaming possible. Can't wait for this to come out. |

Here is Wat Tambor, Passel Argente is next. Tambor did alot during the clone wars, I tried to trim it down. I also left off the Quest for the Sacred Eye of the Albino Cyclops. I thought it would be a good side story or if we choose to leave it out. We could add it if we do a Clone Wars Guide. BTW: Sorry for the gap in posting my wife has been very ill.
Thanks
Cody
Wat Tambor
Wat Tambor was the Foreman of the Techno Union, a galactic institution concerned with technological innovation. Tambor was more than willing to escape from the bureaucracy of the Republic Senate, and readily joined the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Tambor oversaw a number of advanced technology plants scattered throughout the galaxy, and many major corporations, including Baktoid Armor Workshop, Haor Chall Engineering, Republic Sienar Systems, and Kuat Systems Engineering were signatory members of the Techno Union. During the Clone Wars, Tambor served on the Separatist Council, the board of executives that funded and governed the Confederacy of Independent Systems. After the destruction of the droid factory’s on Geonosis. Wat Tambor sought revenge, not in the form of Battle Droids but by sabotaging Republic munitions. So enlisted the help of General Lorca Oviedo of Oviedo Engineering, a munitions manufacture. The problem was that Oviedo was very important to the Republic and Clone Commandos escorted him where ever he went . Tambor’s plan was to kill the Clones and set up a private meeting between the two to discuss sabotaging Republic supplies and munitions and Oviedo’s defection to the Separatist. However his plan ran into one snag, he was dealing with Clones not Droids, he was able to kill most of the Clones, but not all. The remaining Clones were able to extract Oviedo and foil Tambor’s plan. . As the war progressed, Tambor sought new ways to gain an advantage against the Republic in his new role as CIS combat engineer, and as a result, his Techno Union engineers on Metalorn devised the C-B3 cortosis battle droid, a modified version of the B2 super battle droid that was resistant to lightsaber attacks. However his plan was foiled when the Jedi Council sent Anakin Skywalker to destroy the C-B3 factory on Metalorn. So once again Tambor’s plan had failed and this time he had been arrested. Fortunatley for Tambor his incarsaration was short lived two of his Skakoan member s of Tambor's staff, along with the Clawdite changeling freed the Techno Union foreman. . In the later stages of the war he was moved along with the rest of the Separatist Council to Utapau. Then following Count Dooku's death and Grievous's failure at Coruscant, Wat Tambor and the other Separatist leaders were sent to Mustafar. Once on Mustafar they were contacted by Sidious, telling them that his new apprentice would be there to take care of them. Once Anakin arrived, Tambor pleaded for mercy, beging "Please, I'll give you anything. Anything you want!" but his cries fell on deaf ears. Anakin slew Tambor without a second thought. _________________ "Commander Cody the time has come. Execute Order 66..."

Yes as I said in swrpgnetwork I can help with anything except art (I suck at art). I'm really good at NPCs but you should be warned I tend to make "famous" characters a bit more powerful than you seem to have them in the other Galaxy Guides you've made so...just give me some direction there. |

Thing is, right now we pretty much already have all the stats we need. The stage in which this book seems to have stalled is in creating all the fluff text for each entry and chapters... _________________ "He's Gry Sarth, of course he has the stats for them." |

Okay, I've taken the suggestions from the previous drafts of this write up. This version should be book worthy. I'll fix typos if necessary, but this should meet your criteria.
Quote: |
Aayla Secura
Stunning, beautiful, and graceful, Aayla Secura was a Jedi that stood out among the ranks
of the Order. However, she was most remarkable for her humor, which was often mischievous. Embodying the defensive nature of the Jedi, she was slow to directly engage an opponent, and much preferred craftiness as opposed to outright hostility.
Being one of the Jedi to survive the conflict on Geonosis, she quickly proved herself in battle and as a leader of the clone army. Like the other Jedi, she was quickly promoted to general, and She continued to serve the Republic in the Outer Rim with the assistance of her trusted clone commander Bly leading the 327th. Her missions varied in nature including investigating Confederation raids on republic supply lines, seeking out a Morgukai clone warriors allied with the Separatists, and the investigation of a crashed Confederation starship that threatened to ravage the plant life of Honoghr.
Her final mission was with her loyal Commander Bly on the planet Felucia. When she had arrived on Felucia, the battle for the planet was well under way battling among the harsh terrain with the prolific foliage. With the arrival of Secura and the 501st Star Corps, the republic was able to route the separatist forces.
With the Separatist forces crippled, she was able to begin the hunt for the Commerce Guide president, Shu Mai. While Seculra was closing in on Shu Mai the separatist leader set into motion a plan to poison the water table of Felucia. The toxin was powerful enough to kill the plant life on the planet and render the world useless. Meanwhile, Secura and her troops came upon the Nigkoe Detention Facility. There she and the elite Star Corps were to liberate two incarcerated Jedi from a Separatist prison, Bariss Offee, and her Padawan, Zonder. After succeeding in freeing her allies, the doomsday booby trap was activated, threatening to devastate the ecology of the planet. Secura’s final success was to interrupt the deadly toxin.
It was after having saved the planet from its demise that Commander Bly received Order 66 from Supreme Chancelor Palpatine. Being distracted by a native bird taking flight with the backdrop of the exotic flora, Secura failed to sense the betrayal. Without warning, Bly and his troops gunned down the valiant knight they had fought alongside, and left her body among the exotic foliage of a beautiful world.

That's a great write-up, Chesh. Good work. I think the balance of content is perfect. I only detected a typo in the beginning of the 4th paragraph: "Seculra".
If you can keep this up, we will all be indebted to you. _________________ "He's Gry Sarth, of course he has the stats for them." |

Gee, is that all you got Gry? Pffft! That's nothin'
Kidding, of course. That's a mighty hefty list of people that need write ups. Can't you, for some of them, simply add on to what was in the AOTC sourcebook write ups? I know some of them are new, but people like Anakin and Dooku should be just a matter of adding on to what was already there. Of course I may be way off base too.....I'm just wondering. |

That's the thing, I wouldn't like to just rehash the same texts from the Ep2 books, adding another paragraph for Ep3. Surely some of the info should be repeated, but by and large the text should move forward, completing the info from the previous book, not rehashing it. _________________ "He's Gry Sarth, of course he has the stats for them." |

Bana Breemu
Bana Breemu was a young senator from Humbarine, which had become the center of attacks by the Separatists due to the planet’s industrial contribution to the Core Worlds. As the war waged on, Humbraine was abandoned by the Republic forces as it was deemed a front that could not be won. Eventually, the Separatist forces bombarded the surface so heavily that the planet was effectively reduced to slag. Despite the threats that plagued her planet, Breemu was skeptical of the ever-increasing power that Palpatine was gathering for himself.
Bana Breemu’s first notable contribution in the Senate was as a latecomer to the Loyalist Committee, the advisory committee to the Supreme Chanselor whose main tasks were the assisting Palpatine on the Separatist crisis and ending corruption in the Senate. However, after the destruction of her planet, Breemu’s influence waned. Nonetheless, she had close associations with Mon Mothma, and Bail Organa, and was even a member of the Delegation of 2000, the group of senators concerned about Palpatine’s continued use of emergency powers at the close of the Clone Wars. Though other members of the delegation were more aggressive in their perspectives, Breemu advised caution. She favored continuing diplomacy in approaching the matter, and disapproved of any Jedi involvement. Despite these disagreements, she was one of the senators that formally presented the Petition of 2000 in the Senate. |

Baron Papanoida
Shrouded in secrecy and mystery, this once-humble poet from Wroonia found himself in a position of considerable influence in the latter days of the Republic. As a performer and lover of the arts on Wroonia, Papanoida became a local sensation. Using his resources as an entertainer, he managed to found a vast entertainment empire and eventually elevated himself to the level of a trade guild baron.
From there, his personal motives, private life, and true political agenda become vague. It was known that he managed to establish contacts throughout the galaxy, making him an extraordinary intelligence resource, rivaling the best in the galaxy, even the Bothan Spynet. Despite his vast influence, his true allegiance is questionable. Papadoida was an outspoken critic of Palpatine’s growing power, though he never extended himself into any direct political opposition. Likewise, some of his intelligence towards the end of the Clone Wars arouses curiosity. Despite the accuracy of previous intelligence, during the hunt for General Greivious, Papanoida reported that there were not any significant Separatist forces on Utapau. Though it is possible this was a genuine error, Papanoida had never commented on the faulty (or falsified) intelligence. Perhaps his true allegiance was only to himself. |

Those are very good Chesh. I only picked a misspelled "Papadoida" on the 2nd paragraph.
Right now I'm revising the Ep2 book, in order to re-release it and iron out any problems that might be carrying over to the Ep3 book. The most troublesome item that I heard people complaining about, with reason, are the stats for Plo Koon. The stats weren't really reflecting the descriptive text, with low strength, no real hand combat prowess, no impressive telekinetic ability, and most notably, a number of missing force powers. The other mistakes were easily corrected, but those missing force powers are a real headache. Namely Plo Koon should be able to use Force Wind and Force Lightning (both of them dark side powers) and some sort of unexisting "Manipulate Environment" power. I just don't know how to handle this... _________________ "He's Gry Sarth, of course he has the stats for them." |

Wind is easily handled if we convert a power from the KOTOR book. But I'd like to take a look at write ups and things of that sort before we start on a Manipulate Environment power. Does WotC have a power anything like that for him? It might be one of those powers that's used in comics and whatnot that the gaming world just decides to let go. TotJ series is full of over-the-top powers that everyone just kind of ignored for game purposes. |
