Hi folks, I guess this is a good place to put this.
I've started my own little publishing company, addy's in my signature.
At any rate, the web hosting service I signed up with had some nice little add-ons included in the package I purchased for the site. One of these is a chat room with unlimited 'private' rooms. I haven't added any mods yet (no dice rolling code or anything, but if they have any I will add them soon. So, if you get an itch to jabber with anybody else you see online, just drop on in and start up a conversation. I've created a permanent room for the Rancor Pit.

Oooh, congratulations on getting the publishing company up an running. My friends and I tried to do that, but, as with most things, interest waned and I haven't heard from them on it in over a year. Sorry, Ankhanu Press, but you shan't come to be. 
Perhaps when I finish one or two of my games (and clear the ideas with copyright holders in some cases) I'll have to make use of your services.
Regarding the chat, how does it compare to IRC (Vong and I set up a Rancor Pit chat channel on the holonet servers about a year ago or so)? I generally avoid web-based chat apps, as they tend to be laggy and jumpy. This one any better?

From what I've seen about the chat software so far, it's pretty quick. Of course, I've only seen it with an empty room, so I can't say how good it will work with more than a handful of folks.
As for publishing your works, bring'em on! I'd love to help you out.
