I don't have any edits to any of Gry's books, but I did want to say I downloaded most of them and they are awesome! _________________ Gamemaster at Large |

Well... thank you very much! Such praise is always appreciated.
But what do you mean "most of them"? There are only 7 to 9 of them (depending of what you consider a "Gry book") so collect them all !! _________________ "He's Gry Sarth, of course he has the stats for them." |

I get either eight or nine, (depending on whether or not you count the Atack of the Clones galaxy guide). What else would you exclude to get seven? |

I didn't download the Weapons book yet. After someone on the forum suggested using emule to grab pdf versions of the WEG books, I downloaded grabbed a bunch and decided maybe I should limit the equipment and stats that I let my group flip through as they made new characters for the Clone Wars game I was about to start.
Now that the game's been running for a couple of months I can probably grab the weapon book without anyone exclaiming "I want! I want! I want!" ... figured I should let them get a taste of standard issue gear before letting them see the big shopping list _________________ Gamemaster at Large |

take a look at the reigat in the alien stats book. the attribute dice are not enough to raise the attributes to the basic level. and another thing is the conflicting stats between the stst book and the official reigat from the wretched hives book, p. 73. The NPC there has 6D strength, while the stat book gives a max of 5D+2.
Found the stuff because i was looking for additional information on the reigat as i am thinking of making one for your game. |
I dont have this book, but is there someone that can confirm this _________________ The Vong have Arrived

I don't have the book on this system, sorry... but I will mention that occasionally specific characters have attributes beyond the species maximums. _________________ Hotaru no Hishou; a messageboard about games, friends and nothing at all.

True. You just wind up with a huge CP risk in trying to do so. |

It's true.
The attribute/skills block is as follows:
Quote: | DEXTERITY 3D+2
Blaster 7D, brawling parry 10D, dodge 7D, grenade 6D, melee combat 8D, thrown weapons 7D
KNOWLEDGE 2D
Intimidation 9D, streetwise 5D
MECHANICAL 2D
PERCEPTION 3D+1
Search 6D
STRENGTH 6D
Brawling 12D+1, climbing/jumping 8D+1, stamina 9D
TECHNICAL 2D
Security 5D |
I'd say from the HUGE dice he's got in some skills, that he far outweighs any normal player character... |

I was excluding the Force Powers book, which was a joint effort from the both of us.
And regarding the Reigat, I think I'm probably to blame for those stats. Must have slipped up somewhere in the process. _________________ "He's Gry Sarth, of course he has the stats for them." |

We may have worked on it together, but I've still got it under "Gry's Books" on my hard drive. |

To me the only thing of concern with the Reigat is that the attribute minimums exceed the species' attribute dice (by two pips). _________________ Arek | Kage |

Yeah, there's that, and there's the fact that such a normal NPC as the one presented in the book shouldn't have stats beyond the species' maxiumum.
So, here's a new take on those stats:
Reigat
Attribute Dice: 12D
DEXTERITY 2D/4D
KNOWLEDGE 1D+1/3D
MECHANICAL 1D+2/3D+2
PERCEPTION 2D/4D
STRENGTH 3D+2/6D
TECHNICAL 1D+1/3D+1
Special Abilities:
Intimidation: Reigats are frightening to many being and receive a +1D bonus to intimidation.
Move: 11/13
Size: 1.9-2.3 meters _________________ "He's Gry Sarth, of course he has the stats for them." |

Since the stat book sources were posted, I thought this thread deserved a bump. I'm not sure if these issues have been fixed or not, but I thought it was worth the bump just in case. _________________ __________________________________
