Okay, it wasn't a Christmas present...but my wife went shopping yesterday and brought me home the Family Guy Star Wars episode on DVD...
Since I didn't get to see it when it aired, I am SO ready!

It was amazing. Let me know what bonus features are on the DVD, I am debating buying it (even though i downloaded it when it came out ) _________________ The Vong have Arrived

I didn't get a chance to see it when it came out either, but my birthday's coming up. I may torrent it, but I definitely want the physical copy with all the trimmings! _________________ Arek | Kage |

I bought it yesterday... it was awesome... The DVD has the movie + Audio commentary, a conversation with George Lucus, The making of Blue Harvest, Animatic Featurette, Family Guy Star Wars clip show, and an Uncensored Audio track... Plus a bonus disk with a copy of the movie for your video Ipod etc. The best thing was that the BX had them on sale for 12.95, instead of the 19.95 that Wal-mart was selling them for. I highly recommend that you buy the dvd and not just download... I have both and the DVD extras make it worth it! _________________ "Well hello Mister Fancypants. I ended up picking up the Special Edition, packaged just like the OT DVD set.
It came with the film and bonus disk plus a T-shirt, a 20 page art book, some baseball style cards that look just like the old ROTJ Topps set from the early 80's and 3D glasses.
The 3D Glasses are for the big picture on the back of the cards (which I havent opened yet so I dont know what it is) and the Space Battle between the Falcon and the Tie Squadron that Luke and Han destroy, which is available as an Extra in 3D.
As far as I can tell, thats the only extra not on the regular version of the film.
All in all, worth the $34 I paid for it. |

Since I started this thread, I thought I'd hijack it.

Yeah, I'm pretty glad to have Halloween. It's one of the few holidays that may family can celebrate without having religious connotations. Don't get me wrong, I've got nothing against religion, but when you're clergy, it's nice not to be in charge of things once in a while. _________________ __________________________________
Before we take any of this too seriously, just remember that in the middle episode a little rubber puppet moves a spaceship with his mind. |
