What annoys me about WOTC's Star Wars is they don't support it. Sure the first round had a good supply of books, all out of print now. They've reissued the core book a couple times now, but with the other books out of print what's the point? I wouldn't be surprised if they lose their license soon since they really aren't publishing any Star Wars RPG books. |

But they sell the miniatures well, don't they? To them and Lucas, it's a "combined" license (... well... at least that's what I believe)... |

Don't forget that they just released a new edition of the rules... which will likely mean new supplements. _________________ Hotaru no Hishou; a messageboard about games, friends and nothing at all.

I thought that after the 2nd release of the core book came out and nothing else followed. Just be nice if the books were in print. New books are great, but when only the core book is on the market not much point in me getting into that game. |

Not it is not a "combined" license. WotC has the licence for Star Wars gaming items. If Hasbro was smart, they would "buy" the miniature game from WotC, have WotC dump their license so they could save a bunch of money. _________________ Xynar

If Hasbro and WotC were not smart, or doing smart business, both would be bankrupt, and we wouldn't have any SW toys. So, they have to be doing something right or the licenses would be pulled.
There are so many IP's that are not tapped that would make amazing D6 titles. I think that this is a great venue for a small group of people to have a stab at a fine new game. |

I saw that the New Core Rulebook was something like $60 Bucks.....???? I'd rather pay that much and get 3-5 WEG books. _________________ "Well hello Mister Fancypants. Well, I've got news for you pal, you ain't leadin' but two things, right now: Jack and s**t... and Jack left town." - ASH

I've read through it, and while interesting, I don't see it as a game system I would enjoy playing Star Wars in |
