Ya, Humans kick @$$.
It doesn't really doesn't matter what species you are though, it's all about how you play your character. |

Hey, as long a human will play the character it'll always have human qualities to it 8) _________________ Tuco: "But if you miss you had better miss very well. Whoever double-crosses me and leaves me alive, he understands nothing about Tuco."

What is my favorite species? Hmmmmm. I guess I don't really have one for the RPG. Although in the Miniatures Battles game I enjoy fielding my squad of MonCals. I like to deploy them under the water of a lake or river, then have them pop up and begin shooting at the Imperials from an unexpected direction. The other players have enjoyed it also. _________________ Know Jesus, Know Peace.

Yuzzem
this race of fur-covered humanoids was native to the planet Ragna III. They were feline in stature, with long snouts and tremendous strength. They awee tall aliens with a tempermental disposition. Their massive arms reach all the way to the ground, even when standing, and ended in huge hands. They were reported to have the strength and stamina of three men, and also suffered from long, intense hangovers when they get drunk. They were enslaved by the Empire and used in labor camps. Luke and Leia team up with two Yuzzem after escaping from Grammel's prison on Mimban
So there we have it this is the race that Son of Fire likes

I just don't like Wookiee's for some reason. _________________ "My schooling not only failed to teach me what it professed to be teaching, but prevented me from being educated to an extent which infuriates me when I think of all I might have learned at home by myself." - George Bernard Shaw |

My personal favourite is the Coynite. They work on many levels, although the only time I have had a chance to play one, I was very much combat inclined.
No one believes that anyone can survive without blasters - the Coyns are a good example of how to do it. |

My Esoomian has only fired a blaster once and that was just to hide the fact that the person was killed by a large fist.
Stupid blasters and their stupid standerdized triggers. No-one ever thinks of the larger races when mass producing weapons do they |

Trade Federation and their Droid Trooper Blasters have nice big trigger guards.
And Mar & Corel hears your pain! We can Custom Make the Trigger and Grip for almost any size hand or appendage.
We'll also upsize the cartridge to your request, however, first you must sign a waver just in case you start cracking your collarbones. |

The Mashi Horansi is not represented in the d20 system and I am outraged. Er, well, annoyed. I don't play that system, but the lack of representation has forced me to change my favorite species to Mashi Horansi. The MOG will fight for the underdogs. If the weak Nagai get some light so must the Horansi! Long live Kitty-kind! _________________ "I don't know about angels, but it's fear that gives men wings." -Max Payne

Now all I need to do is find your company (or a company very much like it) in my GM's universe. I don't think my GM will be particularly happy if I turn up with a large customised weapon which I 'ordered off the holonet' |

There you go. You might be able to squeeze your finger into that trigger guard.
And, if you can't, ask your friendly neighbourhood Astromech to go nuts with the Laser Cutter for a few seconds. Bing, No Trigger Guard!!!
It's actually a semi-common modification for military firearms in Countries that deal with Cold Winters (Like, say, *CANADA*! And Switzerland.) to have the Trigger Guards be able to be removed and reattached, for when Soldiers have to wear gloves.
And your GM shouldn't worry *TOO* much... I mean, how much skill do you have in Blaster, anyhow? Do you even *HAVE* the skill? You'd be starting fresh!
"OK, who wants to lay bets that he'll hit us more often than he hits the enemy???" "NOONE!!! OK, how about this, Es, if you hit ANYTHING that you're aiming at, you get a box of yummy cookies!!!" |

Yeah the Esoomians blaster skill is not high but seeing as how he's just managed to steal an Eweb from imperial forces and is having it modified to be used as a blaster rifle (An advantage of being over 3 meters tall is that large cumbersome pieces of equipment are not large and cumbersome to someone that large)
What I lack in accuracy I make up for in firepower... The only safe place to stand is directly behind the esoomian |

|
|
Since this seems to be the most appropriate topic under which to discuss this, I have a few questions regarding the Iotran species.
First off, both in Rancorpit's "Alien species" and this other site (http://planeta.terra.com.br/lazer/outerrim/aliens/iotran.htm), the Iotran in question holds something in his left hand.
My first question is: what is he holding? It looks like a grenade, but it has a strange glowing piece of paper trailing from one end.
What is it?
Secondly, while it is nice to have the stats on the species, there is no cultural info on them nor any information regrading their homeworld and other important stuff. I have only vague references to Iotran Bracemen and stuff like that, but no concrete info.
Help me, Rancorpit, you're my only hope.
P.S
Note that I am speakin of Iotrans, the hard-faced humanoids, not the Ithorians, the hammerheaded pacifist.
P.P.S
I'd like to take the opportunity of preaching about the "political correctness" of the word "species", instead of "race".
"Although the term 'race' is in common usage, it is inaccurate, the more appropriate term being 'species'. In general, a 'race' is a sub-categor of a 'species', with members of different races within a species having sufficient genetic similarities to allow for sexual reproduction, while members of different species are incapable of producing viable offspring."
-Galaxy guide 4-
Anyhow, I find the term 'race' slightly discriminative, harking back to 'racial stereotypes' and 'racial discrimination'. On top of that, other than being inaccurate, it sounds stupid.
Well, enough ranting... _________________ There is no emotion; there is peace.
