I have this armor, see... And it's some of the most game-unbalancing armor yet seen in the galaxy (on the other hand, the stuff is several million credits per suit).
If anyone would like the whole process so you too may ask your GM for the possibility, just respond and I'll post 'em!
(This stuff is obscene. Really... Powerful enough to make you resistant to speeder scale damage) _________________ "Let your anger be like a monkey in a pinata"

I'm good for it.
My "Gods of the Universe" group is already resistant to Speeder Scale Attacks.
Honestly, a hit to the torso from a Speeder Tank KNOCKED DOWN one guy in my group...
That is all.
And it's only a "Touch" pricy for my group. The Janitors on the ships couldn't afford it... But the Marines and Main PCs should with no problem...
Well, aside from cutting into their retirement fund... |

Eol Sha Lava Dragon Scale Battle Armor
Crystalline Silicon scale plating
BASE STATS
+4D Physical
+6D Energy
-1D+1 DEX and related skills
+1D to opponent's PER (due to sparkle and "chinklings" sound)
Cost: 550,000 credits for basic suit (normal sized human)
(this cost is reflected moreso in the expense of hunting, dispatching, and skinning the Lava Dragon than the tailoring of the garment)
Basic suit covers:
Torso
Pelvis
Arms
Legs
Feet
Backs of Hands (via half-gauntlet)
90% of Head/Neck (via nasal Barbute Helm)
Color(s) available:
One (1) color available: a sparkling Blackish-Crimson
Required "Extras":
(These extras are required for the safety of the wearer and the reputation of MAX Corp. armoring standards)
Contoured Body Glove (+ 100,000 credits) [-1 pip DEX penalty]
Multi-Articulated Joints (+ 295,000 credits) [-1D DEX penalty]
Liquid Closed-Cell Padding (+ 100,000 credits) [+1D Physical protection]
Atmospheric EnviroSeal (+ 55,000 credits) [comfort in climate]
Lubricated Sound Dampers (+ 100,000 credits) [-1 pip PER penalty]
Poly-Scoured Satin Finish (+ 50,000 credits) [-2 pips PER penalty]
Servo-Enhanced Motor Strength (+ 360,000 credits) (+2D STR and related skills {except damage})
Fully Enclosed Gauntlets (standard on EnviroSeal Option)
Fully Enclosed Helmet (standard of EnviroSeal Option)
Sub-Total Cost: 1,610,000 credits
Modification Costs:
+ 2,259,585 credits for enhanced Physical protection [+1D+2 Physical]
+ 1,530,685 credits for enhanced Energy protection [+1D+1 Energy]
(these extreme costs are necessary, as our engineers restructure the armor at the elemental level to provide the lighter, harder, more absorbative armor than "nature" would have provided)
Final Cost: 5,400,270 credits for normal sized human
(Bernas would cost +10% dues to additional materials [he is larger than normal)
(Small humanoids would be +20% [due to miniturization])
(Very Small humanoids incapable of wearing Lava Dragon Armor [too heavy and Servo-Enhancements not available])
Final Armor Stats:
6D+2 Physical
7D+1 Energy
+2D STR and related skills {except damage}

Here at MAX Corp., your satisfaction is our Number One Priority. We remain committed to excellence and this dedication comes with some cost. However, we feel that quality, and more to the point, peace of mind, are without price. Don't you?

Homebrew, but uses the books for Eol Sha Lava Dragon scale properties and improving the armor via money. The other stuff was just common sense. Or, was it? _________________ "Let your anger be like a monkey in a pinata"

Why pay for it when you could be a thief like me and steal it... |

You'd probably have to be good enough to steal the clothing off his back, then...
*Remembers GMs Uber-PC-Turned-NPC Bomba the Ewok* OK, it's possible.
We let him drive a Speeder once... It was through the forest, the rest of the drivers were injured... We figured that, well, they'd know how to drive something through the bush...
"Don't give your car keys to a primitave life form" was a good life lesson that night... |

While I appreciate your zeal Ragnar, the whole point is it is custom fit to your body type. Using anyone elses armor, even an identical twin, would be a little... off. DEX penalties would come back for example.
Besides, do you really want to steal? Isn't that a bit dishonest? _________________ "Let your anger be like a monkey in a pinata"
