I have been looking *everywhere* for a Star Wars d6 PBeM group to join, alas, to no avail. Anybody have anything going on now that they're looking for an extra player for? A link would be much appreciated...
And before you reply, consider the following:
-NOT interested in IRC
-NOT interested in other chat-medium
-NOT interested in board-based play
-NOT interested in... whatever other kinky stuff you'd reply with |

I have heard of this being done, but any other median used other than sitting down face-to-face is beyond me how it happens. How does it happen? |

Lots of typing. *LOTS* of typing.
Haven't done it myself, but I've heard of it. |

I'm sorry for the confusion ... I took it for granted that most of the online RPG community knew what PBeM was. Personally, I find it to be an ideal medium for gaming for folks who don't have a lot of time, or who can't find a local gaming group to sit down with. Most of my PBeMing I used to do with AD&D... but with the evil of 3rd edition, it's hard to find a good game these days (again, one thing that AD&D and d6 Star Wars have in common...).
On a separate but related note, I hate WOTC!!!! |

Ah yes, WotC, and their 15th Level Sith Lords... With +2 Lightsabres of Jedi Slaying and whatnought.
Aside from the Star Wars bit, I can suggest checking out "Hackmaster" from Kenzer & Co. Yes, the KoDT guys. I haven't played it, but it looks good, and is, apparently, the original AD&D. With some humour and kicked up a notch. OK, with alot of humour and kicked up a WHOLE LOT.
All I can say is, "People with Scanners, start them up!!! If they will not give us what we want, we must share what we have!!! Stand up, Gamers of the world!!! You have nothing to loose but the Chains Of Character Levels!!!" |
