Please try to stay on topic in your posts. If your post doesn't pertain to the title of the thread, please reconsider posting it. It's easy for one off-topic post to completely change the direction of a thread (often for the worse). New people should be able to come here and easily find the information they're looking for. Hijacked threads can make it very difficult for people to find useful information. Please try to stay on topic with your posts so these forums are more enjoyable for everyone! Thanks!

Hey all, just wanted to give some of these general guideline posts a bump again so everyone is sure to see them. Please give them a read if you haven't done so before. Thanks!
This one specifically has come up recently. Many threads contain good information about the initial question that was asked, etc. Off-topic posts just make it more difficult for people to find useful/relevant information. So stay on topic please and help keep this an easy place for people to find the information they're looking for. Thanks!

Hey everyone, please re-read my first post on this topic. Points of emphasis:
1) If your post doesn't pertain to the title of the thread, please reconsider posting it.
2) It's easy for one off-topic post to completely change the direction of a thread (often for the worse).

Sorry to keep hammering on this topic, but this seems to have become a pretty rampant issue here lately. Please use this as your guiding principle before replying to a post:
