Syllri nods, "But we must be cautious. Use the Force to guide you."

The four quickly work to cover the Phyrd in leaves and fallen branches. While Syllri and Roth drove the speeder this close to the outpost earlier in the day, all agree it might be a little too much of a risk driving it this close at night. Once it's covered, they slowly make their way south, staying close enough to the edge of the woods so they can see the clearing but far enough away from it to be more easily concealed incase someone is patroling the edge of the woods.

Moving slowly so as to better reduce their chances of being detected, it takes them nearly an hour before they reach a point where they can no longer see the clearing. The carefully head west towards where Roth believes the outpost to be. After a few minutes Daevon stops, crouching low to the ground and motioning for the others to do so as well. Through the trees ahead can just barely be made out a two story tall wall. Daevon takes a couple deep sniffs then scratces the ground a couple times. After he scratches he points to two spots at the base of the wall.

All three Jedi suddenly feel as if a wet blanket has fallen over them.

(OOC: Roth and Syllri are senseing danger, Daevon is picking up the scent of a couple beings.)

Very quietly, Roth says, "I think that dark sider's trying something through the Force..." He looks at Syllri. "Should we combat it with that new technique we learned?"

[Hellcat]

"Do you three see that?" Siegfried whispers to the others, pointing ahead of them.

(OOC: Daevon, Syllri, and Siegfried can just barely make out what looks like a door in the wall guarded by a couple of soldiers. Roth can't see it)

Roth concentrates his visual search on the area indicated by Siegfried.

[Hellcat]

Roth summons the Force, finding it a little difficult to concentrate. It seems the arua of the dark side is making it a little more difficult to use the Force, but something seems different about it from what he encountered with the dark sider ealier. Perhaps the dark sider is meditating, or maybe he has used some dartk side power to enhance his own abilities in this place while lessinging those of a light sider.

Yet despite the difficulty, he manages to clear his mind enough to concentrate on the area Siegfried is pointin to. It's still a bit fuzzy due to the darkness and Roth isn't sure he can make out what may be the door Siegfried thinks he sees. But he's pretty sure he can see a couple of figures standing there.

"It looks like some guards in front of a door? What do you Jedi think?" Siegfried lets his hand drift prematurely to his blaster.

"I believe I'm seeing a couple figures standing there. I'm having a little trouble concentrating," he admits. "You having any issues, Syllri? Daevon?"

Both Syllri and Daevon appear to be concentrating, then both nod in response to Roth's question. Daevon still seems rather intent on where Siegfried pointed.

"And he has the senator's son inside," Daevon whispers. "Plan?"

Roth looks at his comrades. "We have to assume he is sensing and actively resisting us. Should we activate that Force Harmony technique we learned to combat the effects of whatever he's doing?"
