its a pretty large gun, definetly would need two hands. 10 meters isn't a horrible distance and the people in the first 5 meters are not allowed to dodge and the next 5 meters are at -1d. It is pretty much an anti-riot gun. Most rooms are not larger than 10 meters and that tends to be where alot of fighting goes on. |

So you'd need some sort of bayonet/guard attachment if you wanted to use it in conjunction with close quarter combat? _________________ Don't waste money on expensive binoculars.

not really, anyone within 5 meters just gets hit, no chance to dodge, maybe for the round after while you wait since it needs a round in between shots. |

They're carbine-sized, but thick and bulky. With a Vertical Grip under the Forestock to go with a pistol grip.
There's a pic of them in Pirates & Privateers.
The typical technique we used for them was entry positions. Blow/Slice the Door, Toss in a Grenade (We usually threw stun grenades), then one Marine would lean over and blind fire one of these. Wait a few ticks, then another will shoot from the other side.
Then send in the troopers with Blast & Smash Rifles. |

It's a simple plan, just timing is the key. That's what training is for.
And we used it against Impies and Imperial Merchant Marines, not rioters.
I'd hate to see what we'd have done to rioters. |

Stunner, Alex, Stunners.
We were Privateers, not Murderers. BIG difference.
At least, to our characters there is. |

You know you could mess around with your players mind and tell them that if they complete this one adventure, you'll give each of them a Corvette.
Then when they're done, they're rewarded with these. _________________ The Enteague Sector | Cracken's Collection of Crackpots
