Rancorpit IRC Channel

Hey, I set up a channel on IRC a while ago, but moved it to a different server.

Just visit here

http://databank.yvong.com/irc

And then when you join you can type /nick yourNickName

Should bring you right to the channel that i have set up.

Come on and chat with us Very Happy

if this does not work you can try the old link http://irc.holonet.org/

just enter your nick and #rancorpit in the channel name, and voila!

Alternatively, if you have an IRC client:

/server irc.holonet.org (port 6667 if you're using a different default)

/join #RancorPit

you can use the web client if you want. i use MIRC when im at home, and teh web client when im at work

Ah yes...mIRC was the one I was trying to think of. I would have Googled it but didn't have time; my break was over. I'll probably download that and use that at home...I don't have enough time on the computer at work to even use the web client though, really (two 10-minute breaks and one half-hour break).

Edit: Tried it out real quick at work using the web interface...all I found were two guys asleep at their keyboards. Laughing

yeah, I got back about 28 minutes after you quit Razz

As for clients, I use mIRC on Windows, and x-Chat for Mac and Linux. Many of the multi-platform chat clients like GAIM, Trillian, etc have IRC as well.

Ah, timing ftl then. My 10-minute breaks are at 8:45 AM and 1:00 PM, and my half-hour (lunch) is at 11:00 AM (Eastern time zone).
