responding to Katterwall in Farghul & trying to be discreet with all the talking and commotion in the cockpit

"Ah, you speak in my native tongue. I am truly impressed. At the moment we are in between a series of short jumps, while we try to figure out what was responsible for the unusual behavior exhibited by the ship while at the Anchor. It may be a while because the nature of the problem is fairly complex, if you would like you may turn in for the night. I am fairly certain we will be tied up with this mess till the morning. If you are currently not ready to turn in perhaps you can put together a list of skills and responsibilities you are able to do to see where your assistance can be of greatest potential to assist in the duties of the ship?" _________________ "Dig it. The third jump takes both ships to Toba's carefully calculated coordinates. In the meantime, Qassar works at dismantling the droids and checking their programming. His initial checks find nothing out of the ordinary.
Cal, Cyn and Kabakh begin checking the Dream's computer systems for suspicious activity. Cal tries to concentrate on the task, but with all the negativity racing through his mind about being blamed for all the Dream's problems, he just can't focus properly. He pushes on, however, and does the best he can. After a few hours of checking and rechecking the systems, the trio finds no sign of illicit access or anything out of the ordinary other than a failsafe file labeled 'Recovered Files'. Looking into it, Cal finds the logged message of "RUSE" amongst other files that have been recovered from deletion.
Sitting in meditation, Bandon clears his mind of all negativity, a task not too easy with all the shouting and arguing going on around him. He stills himself and focuses on detecting the various life forms aboard the Dream. He locates everyone he expects, and then one more he did not. Using his ability to sense the Force potential within the ship, he determines that it is very active and that there is a powerful presence aboard. Pushing even further forward, he attempts to detect any danger to the crew or himself from this presence and finds that there is none. _________________ Check out some of my games at DriveThruRPG!

Dev continues his research. Cross referencing his findings with information retrieved from the holonet, he discovers that the poison comes from a rare plant found only on Ithor. The dart is still a mystery. _________________ Check out some of my games at DriveThruRPG!

After making the jump, Toba looks at Cal, Cyn and Khabak, who are searching the computer systems.
"Good luck there. In a minute I'll go check the actual mechanic systems. Maybe this interference bypassed the main controls and went directly to the individual components. Right now I have to cool my brain for an instant in my cabin."
Toba makes his way to his bunk and locks himself in there. He takes the deactivated mouse droid, and will do two things to it:
First he'll run a complete diagnostic to see if it could have anything to do with the interference.
Then he'll physically remove all of its artificial intelligence, making it little more than a wheeled box that will mindlessly roam the ship, with just enough sensor ability to avoid collision with objects and people and a randomized activator that will make it stop and move in different directions at intervals, as if it actually had a purpose. Toba will hide the "spare parts" in his safe foot locker.
(OOC - Please let me know how successful Toba is on each task and when he's finished) _________________ "He's Gry Sarth, of course he has the stats for them."

Katterwall keyed a datapad. His list had two entries (in Farghul):
1. entertainer
2. boarding party
To Cyn he explained (OOC: in familiar Basic) "Jaagrar of my standing customarily become skilled in artistic pursuits as well as self-defense." _________________ "Are you sure you know how to fly this thing?"

Delving deeper, Dev discovers that the only means of creating an antidote requires a larger portion of the poison to base it on. For that he would need to travel to the planet or find an Ithorian trade that possessed a sample. _________________ Check out some of my games at DriveThruRPG!

When Toba enters his cabin, he finds that the MSE is gone. A quick and determined search is fruitless. He does find an access panel lying on the floor beneath his bunk next to a small ventilation duct that the droid obviously used to escape. _________________ Check out some of my games at DriveThruRPG!

(OOC - You do remember that I deactivated it before leaving it in my bunk, right?)
Quote: | Toba rushes to his room and locks the mouse droid in there, making sure to deactivate it. Then he finally steps into the cockpit to learn what is going on. |

Bandon think to himself, "Curious... it seems there is another lifeform aboard. I'll have to ask the Captain about it. And so much Force energy is surprising for just having me and Cal on the ship. Very curious indeed." He makes a note to talk about it to someone once everyone has settled in a bit. Until then he remains in meditation, keeping his senses open and sharpening them. _________________ Rebel Uprisings

Hmmm.. with your list of skills & responsibilities, it may be difficult to find a good match on the ship. I am sure we will think of something. Now if you'll excuse me, I must continue examining the programming here." _________________ "Dig it. Who's the man? I'm the man. I'm a bad man. How bad? Real bad. Toba is out of himself with the realization of the mouse droid's escape and mysterious abilities. He storms out his room in blind fury.
"IT'S THE MOUSE DROID!! IT'S THE MOUSE DROID!!"
Toba roams the ship aimlessly, trying to shake everyone into creating a hunting party.
"Do we have Ion weapons on board??!! SEARCH! SEEK! DESTROY!!"
"NO! We need it at least partly intact to uncover this whole thing!
He fumbles his blaster, then his fusion cutter.
"It went into the ventilation ducts!!" _________________ "He's Gry Sarth, of course he has the stats for them."
