Cyn begins his scan and sits back watching the display as it ticks off its results. Several moments pass and finally, the scan ends with no tracking devices being discovered.
Zerran reports back to the bridge after checking the Dream for the same. Again, no tracking devices were discovered.
Dev returns to his lab and begins studying the poison he's discovered. After several minutes, Qassar looks in and sees Git hovering near the medic assisting with the research.
Qassar continues and finds Max standing by in engineering. He is currently recharging. The Treadwell is also there, presumably performing a scan on one of the hyperdrive's coaxial flanges. _________________ Check out some of my games at DriveThruRPG!

As The tarro looks into the medbay, Dev looks up and speaks.
"You want anything capt? Otherwise i got to id this poison, so that i might come up with an antidote for it. If we run into that guy again we might need it." _________________ http://selarips.free.fr/wookieetranslator/

I hope it was worth it; Julan and I had to infiltrate the Imperial garrison and blast a few of the Empire's faithful to get it. She's with me, by the way. If you haven't already, tell Qassar about that. Where is he, anyway? And did you guys all make it out all right?" he says.

"And don't begin with this is not what you asked for. I already said over the intercom that we do not have herbivore brains. Not to mention that there is a great many different herbivores to choose from."
Oo Wow, a droid with attitude. Must need a brain wipe.oO

Cyn breathes a sigh of relief when the scans come back clean on the blast boat.
"Whew, that's a relief. Apparently the Empire does not believe their ships can get commandeered. I did not locate any tracking devices on it."
Thinking this was too easy, Cyn begins a sensor sweep in the different quadrants. (Search functions of the sensors, rotating through the 4 arcs)
He has a bad feeling about the whole thing. _________________ "Dig it. Who's the man? I'm the man. I'm a bad man. How bad? Real bad. I'm a 12.0 on the 10.0 scale of badness." The Evil Midnight Bomber

Taking a brief step into the past:

Toba is a bit uncomfortable at first, as Cal defends himself, but in the end he recovers some of his initial scepticism.
"Well, the Dream starts acting of its own accord at the same time you install this secret remote controller. Even you must accept that such a coincidence warrants a few raised eyebrows! Well, I don't actually have eyebrows to raise... but you get the point! A few pointed fingers, then."
And back to the present, has Toba finished plotting a hyperspace route? _________________ "He's Gry Sarth, of course he has the stats for them." |

Corric finds that that the two ships are near the planet Gentes, an inhospitable world. The nearest systems are Bespin and Hoth.
Cyn's second scan takes a bit longer, but again comes back with no results.
Toba has successfully plotted another microjump into the navicomputer. _________________ Check out some of my games at DriveThruRPG!

Cyn will continue on the sensors until a plan of action has been determined by Qassar.

"No trouble at all, kitty. If it defies me I'll smack it in the coiling junctions with a fusion cutter."
Toba transmits the coordinates over to Corric in the gunboat and comms him.
"Punch those in, Corric. And wait for my command to make the jump. It's not safe to linger here."
Then turning over to the ship's open intercom:
"Captain! Permission to make a safety micro-jump!" _________________ "He's Gry Sarth, of course he has the stats for them." |

Kabakh watches his master leave. He wonders what he's up to, but decides it's better not to pursue him. He looks around the bridge, trying to figure out where they might be going and what could happen to them next. Despite Cal's assurance no one can access his program, much less find it, he's not entirely convinced. While the program sounds like a good idea, he fears it could be a tamed vornskr waiting to turn on them. But he keeps his vocabulator shut. _________________ FLUFFY for President!!!!

"You're right," Cal says. "In case you hadn't noticed, my own eyebrows raised when I found out the ship was piloting itself. I definitely want to look into it, and so no one thinks I'm pulling a fast one I want Kabakh and Cyn both to help me do it. With two other people looking on we'll be more likely to catch anything wrong, and they'll be able to verify that I'm not trying anything funny. Will that be acceptable?" he asks. |

Zerran knows that he his skill set have no application here, so he simply informs Kabakh on his way out "I did not detect any tracking systems on board with a once over." and heads to the lounge to wait until he is summoned to do something. _________________ The Vong have Arrived

Kabakh impercebtibly nods his head as Zerran tells him he didn't detect any tracking devices. He then turns toward's Cal and looks at him, wondering how exactly he'll be able to help with the program. He doesn't have any real know with programming computers and feels that he was lucky to discover that no one had accessed the program.
But even as he's thinking that he begins wondering if he might have actually missed something. Since he doesn't have any knowledge in that field, maybe someone had accessed the program and he doesn't know it. Perhaps he should see about having Max double check things.
Still, he decides he'll atempt to help Cal, or at least make it look that way so he can keep an eye on him. _________________ FLUFFY for President!!!!

Cyn responds while still eyeing the sensors.
"Sure, I'll help. Let me know when you are ready so I can switch to passive sensors." _________________ "Dig it. Who's the man? I'm the man. I'm a bad man. How bad? Real bad. I'm a 12.0 on the 10.0 scale of badness." The Evil Midnight Bomber

Cal thinks about it and says, "I realize you won't actually use the piloting part of the program Kabakh, but perhaps I ought to give you access to it as well. At least then, if Qassar's computer is down for some reason, he might be able to access it through you." |
